i got the ten day free trial form a buddy pf mine and was wondering if after its up do i need to buy the game or just pay a subscription fee to start playing the full version of the game

    both, but also an extra reminder, youll get more free time with the retail game too

    That is a good question. I think you just need to get a subscription, because that's the way every MMO ever developed has done it, but I don't know for certain.

    That is a good question. I think you just need to get a subscription, because that's the way every MMO ever developed has done it, but I don't know for certain.

    No mmo has done that early on that I can think of.

    It's usually "box + subscription" for the first 6 months/year/whatever, then it goes to "free download + subscription" later on.

    The client is currently free, every mmo's client is more or less free, the money is to create the account

    You need a retail key for the subscription, which is not free. Hence, my point stands.

    After a free trial ends, the account will be dead until the retail key is applied. The retail key is obtained through purchasing the game.

    Upon the creation of the user's account with the retail key, they will be asked to create subscription information (if they didn't buy the lifetime) in order to continue having the account remain active after the first month of included with the game expires.

    So, yes to both.
