1) make an option to turn off those annoying Tips windows - they appear each time I visit earth space dock for example.
2) when I form a party with my friends and go for some mission it often happens that we spawn in different instances of one location - which is annoying - we have to manually change the instance to be all together - please make sure that party always end up in the same instance automatically
3) buying stuff in shops could be faster if there was an option to buy more pieces of the same item all at once (like when I want to buy 20 shield charges in replicator). Now you have to buy stuff one by one.
4) The bridge is completely useless so far right ? Or is there anything I can actually do there ?
5) those random explore missions could be more interesting - not just "go there, scan 5 artifacts, kill all that moves, get out"
6) report spam button in mail box should also delete that mail
7) why the ship can't go straight down or up ? why is there that 45 degree or so limit ? that doesn't make any sens at all and sometimes it's pretty annoying.
2) this was a much worse problem durring beta - what my friends and i have found that works, is let one person go into the instance and wait for their status to change from "map moving" to whereever you all are going - then everyone else follows - works good for staying together.
3) ditto - one at a time buys sucks hairy donkey nuts,
4) if your an engineer you can set up your turrets and stuff on the bridge and do some quality solo dancing.
5)explore missions in general are boring - do you think every nebula that the enterprise pulled up too sent them back in time or had a bunch's of klinks waiting to pounce on them? most were stand arround picking your bum while the scanners worked their magic. - i suspect there will be more to do way down the road after they get all the bugs zapped, and our mini skirts to us.
6) ditto - def. a pain to have to report spam and then tell it to delete - have to click two whole buttons.
7) it was stated months agao that it is due to limitations to the game engine - so it's easier just to change the way you approach a fight then ask for them to change the game. - i've yet had a problem with this system as i plan my attacks based on the system @ hand.
7) I kinda guess it was a limitation in the engine. And while I appreaciate that a fully 3D engine, one in which there is no up or down at all would probably get confusing easily. At the end of the day it's irksome but no more than that.
7) I didn't mean that i'd like to have full 3d engine as it would get confusing as you're saying but all I'd like to see is being able to move my ship up and down freely cause with this limit its pretty annoying when theres a group of enemies above you and you simply cant move up to engage them ... you must first fly away somewhere to get on their level and then approach them. but in space it just doesnt make sens - you should be able to move freely as you like.
1. Agree - tips were fine for the first few hours. I've now mastered the interface and know where NPC's are and what they do. No more need for tips.
2. Agree - although I primarily solo just to enjoy the content on my own, it should be "easy" and "automatic" for a group to all drop into the same instance.
3. Agree - perhaps a SHFT+Click, or CTRL+Click or ALT+Click to bring up an option box for total number to be purchased. I have discovered that ALT+L.Click when buying items skips the "confirmation" dialogue box.
4. The Bridge was fine during the tutorial but the implementation of it "in-game" makes it nothing more than "10 Top" where you stand around and look at a glowing chair. A complete waste of the developers time in order to placate folks that think they want something when in actuality they are going to find it too difficult to use if it's made "functional". I respectfully request that folks re-consider the push to get a functioning bridge in a game that is targeted at the average casual gamer.
5. Mission complexity will come with more development time and experience. I look upon these missions as the normal day-to-day activities of a Star Fleet vessel in between the "dramatic" episodes. I served at sea for some 8+ years and know first-hand that shipboard life can be quite dull and repetitious in between the chaotic moments of warfare drills.
6. Disagree - I'd rather not have an email automatically be deleted even if I am reporting it as spam. It would be too easy to accidentally delete a non-spam email.
7. Known limitation of the game engine. I find that circling around in an upward or downward spiral to get "level" with my target before attempting to engage it makes playing a lot easier. There are a few system missions where the "ring" of "bad-guys" is in the vertical plane making it a challenge to get down or up to them before engaging.
