Always asking me if I want to depart a system. I'd rather one of my BO's did that. Sulu needs to stop micromanaging. Also, I'd prefer it if the dork from Star Fleet Traffic Control didn't constantly ask me if I wanted to warp to a sector when I'm at the border. My BO should do that. I'm starting to suspect that Star Fleet Traffic Control is just something you guys made up to slap a image on the warp confirmation box.
Also, now that I think about it, I'm already technically warping when they ask me if I want to warp, so wtf.
well i personally think we need a helms"person" because im tired of trying to find my way to a system or sector .. i should just say i want to go there and hear my crew shout "sir yes sir"
Yeah, I would prefer to see one of my officers asking me for confirmation about ship stuff. And why do we need traffic control? It just breaks up the game more :S makes it look smaller

They probably can't get around having a confirmation on the zoning between sectors, since accidentally zoning just because you flew too close would be more annoying than having the player confirm that they really want to zone, but if one of my BO's asked me if I wanted to cross into the Alpha Centauri sector, or whatever, it would be less intrusive than if a traffic cop suddenly pops up and asks me. I KNOW it's really the same thing from a mechanics point of view, but it's also not.

STFC is a bit of a pain in the TRIBBLE and it does detract from the immersion side of things. For travel, everything needs to be 'bridge' orientated.

you see... Sulu is upset that his great grandfather was always overshadowed by Kirk!
