1)The timer does not count down for the red matter battery unless I am in my ship.
It does not count down when I am on a planet, or a space station.
Infact, no space powers count down. Time should pass on my ship if I am in game, anywhere.
2)Please let me fly straight up or down. It sucks seeing an object straight below your ship and you have to spiral down to get to it.
3)Please stop auto placing powers on my hot bar.
4)Please let me turn off help tips box.
5)Please put a screen shot option in the game and also an option to hide all the GUI so I can take a clean pic.
6)please let me resize all the windows in my GUI and let me hide each one as an option. I don't need some of the windows that exist atm.
7)Please make a spam mail slot where all people who are not my friends or in my fleet will end up, so i don't have to deal with spam mail with my good mail.
8)Please put descriptions on EVERYTHING.
9)Please put the right level anomalies in all the right missions. I am tired of finding a bunch of low level ones as a high level character.
10)Please drastically lower the price to rename a BO. 3000 merits is a bit high.
11)Please fix 9 and 0 on the number pad (not above the letters) so they can be assigned and used on the hot bar.
12)Please make the fire all phasers, all torp and all weapons buttons MUCH bigger or make them able to be placed on the hot bar.
Printscreen omg clean picture with no GUI. Who woulda thunk. You get a free rename as soon as you get the BO, shoulda did it then, hmm? The rest is drivel thats personal opinion, and therefore not priority. Sorry, get over it.
I found that if you right click the item there comes up a little menu and one of the things says info. It's how I figured out what astrometrics was for.

Are you saying everything already has full descriptions and explenations?
Everything that I wanted to find out about. I understood what each of the skills were by clicking on them. All of the items say what they are good for. The only problem I have had occasionally is not knowing exactly where I needed to go for the next mission, but I figured I should be in such and such a sector, so I will go to that block and look for the system I need.
Really I haven't been confused about anything once I figured out I could right click an item to understand it better.
So in that regard yes, I believe everything I want to know about is described.

If i have two engine items that give me +10 to turning, do they stack?
How would I know?
What is my turning rate on my ship now?
How would I know?
My ship says i have a 50% chance to crit. I add a weapon that says I have a 40% better chance to crit with it. Do i now have a 90% chance to crit? If so, why does my ship not change at all when I add or remove the weapon?
We don't know most of our own stats and what they mean in detail.
Yes, there is a vague description of the powers, but no real details.

Yes and yes, obvious answer is obvious. Your just nitpicking obvious things to try and make a point but are failing.
Well since I am on here and not in the game, I can't answer those questions. However I do know that under status a lot of these numbers exist. So... take off the two +10 pieces, see what your flat rate is, put one on, see if it changes, put the other on, see if it changes again. Seems pretty basic to me.
I suppose our playing game styles are different. I usually pick up a game and dive right in, and hardly have I ever looked at the game manual before. I just figure it out. Perhaps not the most efficient way, but sometimes the most fun, plus then I really know how to do it as opposed to just reading about it.

I agree with the above, however

Learn to keybind and you won't need these buttons at all, which is why I agree with number 6.
Ability-clickers have much slower response times than keybinders. Maybe doesn't matter now, but when raidisodes come out, every little bit will count.

thing is, I play a certain way and my way is to click on the button to fire all weapons.
It is just how i play.
Why those buttons are there, but SO damn small is beyond me.
The turn rate has to do with your auxillary energy expenditure. I checked, if you have something that increases your turn rate it increases your auxillary max energy.

Once again, what is my turn rate on my ship???
You can't answer me.
this is just one of a hundred examples in this game.

Fair enough, and I know lots of people are ability-clickers. Just saying, keybinding is a much more efficient way to play. Not sure what your plan is for the end of the game but if you plan on doing endgame content (and beating it) you will most likely need to play differently.
I agree with this, I wish we had some way to lock the skills on the hotbar so the game doesn't keep moving stuff. I accidentally removed rifle butt from my hotbar, now everytime I do an away mission I have to add it again.
Then measure it. Turn and see how long it takes you to do it. There you have your answer.
In fact, it's pretty easy, engage full impulse, aim for something, then hit your turn button, see how long it takes you to turn back to what you were aiming, experiment with the engineering consoles to see if it is different.
Sure they haven't given a clear detail, but like I said before, I don't care that it isn't there, because it just allows me to figure it out. Which, again, I think is cool and teaches me something.

first you argue that all the info is already there to see and now you are saying it is cool for you not to have the info.

There are a lot of little things that are missing/lacking. The "Fan People" will pick one point out and launch an "Alph Strike" to get the discredit game a going.
No. I don't. And it is more to do in my opinion with a certain can do attitude on my part and a certain can't do attitude on yours. In fact, I can clearly recall several games I have played where there were great intricacies within the game that were not in the manual at all and part of the gaming experience was learning these details.
Oh, and lets be perfectly honest here, you have questions, they probably should have been put into StarFleet Academy, where it is much more likely your questions will be answered in a manner pleasing to yourself.

So an engineering captain with engineering parts should NOT know what these parts do or how much they effect his ship, specifically?

Are you serious?
Wow.
No they are not man. Some here refuse to see some of the completely obtuse designs in the game and will bash at you, and your opinion/points mercilessly. Its quite sad to be honest.
Comments
Yep.
Are you trying to be helpful, because so far you have failed.
If you press print screen it will save a clean screenshot without GUI
The rest is drivel?
No, most are bugs that need fixing.
Wow, you fanbois really defend this game blindly.
There are bugs and they need to be fixed.

Nitpicking?
Seriously, how can you check? Tell me.
There is no turn rate listed on my ship stats so how do you know?
If you find the wrong level anomalies in a mission, you should put in a bug report. That's the proper way to get this addressed.

I have bug reported all of this stuff, but coming here and posting helps as well.

OMG, my point is the info should be there to see.
Do you get that?
Glad to see you performing as usual.

Didn't wait for Cryptic to tell him how it worked, figured it out on his own, and there you go.
glass is half full my friends, half full.
