Not Enough content vs can't log in...

I am confused on some of the complaints on this board. On one hand we have people who say there isn't enough content, no end game. They are already at rear admiral in the game. Then there are people that say they can't even play, they get disconnected all the time, etc.

Can it really be both? If you are a Rear Admiral you have been playing for at least 80 hours, evidently these people can log in just fine, play for extended amounts of time without any major issues, enough so that they can complain about the lack of content (which very well may be justified).

I wonder if those that aren't able to log on are really having a problem with the program or with their computer/internet connection?

Me personally except for once last weekend where I couldn't play due to the server being down, have been able to log on every time I wanted to. I have only put in probably 30 hours or so, and have been TRIBBLE around for most of that.

Also I am having a blast, sure there are problems, but with my limited time to play, I don't anticipate being up there in levels for a few weeks if not months. I have time.

It's people who can't login once then make a huge spectacle out of it. I never once had a queue, even when people are going crazy over it, never once been disconnected except when server went down, and if it says up, and I login, I get in. It's more then likely people on other continents who are having a diffucult time connecting and want to whine and complain over nothing.

When a game has a high population, even just 0.01% of them having a problem with connection (or not entering their retail key for example) can make it appear like theres a big problem if they all post on a forum, because there will be multiple threads.

Always ends up being true that the vast majority of people who have no problems never go to the forums and say "everythings fine here", they just play the game :p

I did have some disconnect issues a week ago, the client would attempt to connect to their internal IP of the server versus the external IP (those internal IPs don't route on the internet).

Since this past weekend I've only had one disconnect and I've been in and out of the game constantly, even testing it when others complained.

I suspect ISP and routing issues between these clients and Cryptic.
