Honestly, if I read one more "TOR doesn't have space lolololololololololfail" post, I'm going to punch a nun in the face.
I've seen in multiple interviews/articles that space is confirmed, but since most of you seem to be struggle with actually coming up with proof/facts, here's [Uedit] in movie form. It's around 3:20 I believe.
My one source of proof > everyone's 0 proof.
I win.
Edit: Marker is actually around 3:20, not 2:25.

I care about this as much as everyone on these forums cares about getting their facts straight.
Which you can't seem to do.
Is that less than I care about how much you care? Because I care very, very little about that.
I'm looking forward to ToR, but this ain't the place.
I have proof there's a space element in TOR, yet everyone on these forums seem to think there is none.
Care to explain that?
Kill this thread please
Why would I care to explain that on a STO forum? Your topic has no relevance to this forum. TROLL
If by troll you mean provide proof against a very common misbelief, then yes, I am trolling hardddddddd.
Yeah, I guess there's space in TOR if you count the space to move around in that cantina concept art as space. But, if you're talking about outer space with starfighters and dogfights, I'm still unconvinced.
Actually, that video made me lose respect for Bioware as a Star Wars developer...the plural of Jedi is "Jedi" not "Jedis". /facepalm
Edit: Around 3:18 (not 2:25 as you originally posted), the dev states that "any good Star Wars game is going to have a space experience...we're still working on the details on that, we'll have more to talk about that later." Sounds like developer double-talk for "the space component will be exactly like our other Star Wars games."
Pretty much.
There may be "space content" in Swtor but I highly doubt its going to be anything like what we see with EvE or STO. Likely it will be similar to what you saw with the other Kotor games, or Mass Effect. You tell your ship where to go and Zip. It goes there.
Thats space content in a way but not really what most fans of STO are referring too. We're talking about actually piloting our star ships, something Bioware has never done before. Period.
So I wouldnt expect to see it in Swtor either.
Bioware also never made an MMO before, loe and behold
Everyone should stop typing in this thread and just wait and see, what ever happens happens.
Uh huh. A "space experience" could be as little as hiring a ship in a cantina to take you to a different planet, while you get to walk around on-board the ship until you land, and then walk back down the ramp onto the other planet.
Let me know when it launches.
To be fair, space combat isn't what I, and probably quite a few others, are going to be looking to ToR to provide. I came to STO for that fix.
But this is still a pointless thread because these are not the ToR boards.
Here, I'll even make it easy and link ya, OP.
If you hate STO so much that you feel it necessary to bring discussion about what ANOTHER MMO being made by ANOTHER COMPANY into this forum called "Star Trek Online Discussion", then you really have demonstrated a serious need to move on.
Not that I really believe that you will.
But still
IBL
> this way
also most of us don't care.
I tried to log in to TOR today and could not get my space ship running. Can you give me details and a step by step on how I can get my spaceship in SW:TOR.
Try reinstalling. You still have your install discs, right?
I cannot seem to find them.
