Hello.
Yes I am new to this. But I want to learn and have some fun. However, there are TONS of elements that I have seen that are not explained at all, anywhere.
For example, I get kicked off a mission after 45 seconds for leaving a "team." I dont know how or why I even joined a team, let alone left one. Are these real players? When I asked, someone says "Press O and shut off Auto-Grouping" Well, I pressed O and saw the social popup but there is no selection for "Auto-Grouping."
I am tired of being ridiculed by people for not knowing. People on here are huge A-holes because I am asking something "stupid."
So, Cryptic, is there a detailed users guide I an download that will explain this all to me so I don't have to rely on other users for support and learning?

You know not yet but what you can do for the time being is use the help. In a month or so or maybe even now I have not looked but there will be a wiki page with all the content in the game on it, there will be websites dedicated to the quests and everything you want to know about it. With every MMO I play I use google it is your friend type in your question on google then put STO in the search box and you will usually find your answer for this game and any others out there. I hope this helps you find the information your looking for and also use these forums. Use the right forum topics and ask your questions maybe your not the only one with the same question? Never know but in due time there will be lots of reference material.
Here is an example of a website that someone built for LOTRO after the game was up and running http://lore.cc/?i=3533

On the bottom right of the chat box. There is a symbol that represents a group. Hover you curser over it, then change the grouping from open to closed. It is also on the social popup on one of the tabs, I can't remeber which one.
