DO NOT limit levels on fleet actions and my solution

I enjoy the repeatable aspect of fleet actions but people are moaning and it will get wrecked. I like using my different ships at different times, also I like the breaking the planet ground one too.

Lvl restrict this and you kill the game for a lot of people. I like that there's 20 live people playing, and don't want have to wait another bunch of lvls for a new one now that I would be locked out if the moaners get their way.

I don't care about rewards (I play sci) I just like having fun, FYI you can get good rewards doing missions too, I got a bunch of cools stuff.

But I do see the complaints of the people who do feel like higher lvls are taking advantage, so here's my solution.

I'll offer it up for discussion.


for space........ A reward for every tier..

Tier 2 reward, tier 3 reward etc, etc, even allow this if the fleet action usually starts at tier 3 but you want a challenge or just to use a different ship you'll get a reward if you use tier 2

For ground......... a reward for every command bracket...... admiral reward, lt, lt com reward etc etc...

This way people can mix and there's still competition. Who's the best admiral? Who's the best commander?

Competition for all lvls, and highers don't steal from lowers and can repeat for more replayability.

    I'm more inclined to go with a suggestion I have seen in other similiar threads:

    Limit what ranks can grab the Fleet Action loot.

    For example, any rank over Lt Cmdr 2 becomes inelligible for the dps loot rewards at Starbase 24. This solves high level players from grabbing all the blue rewards but also allows any rank to play if they just feel like showing up or helping out a Fleetmate.

    While you may not care about the Fleet Action rewards, some players prefer a more level playing field when the game's only measure of who gets what is based on DPS. :) As the Starbase 24 Fleet Action is designed for beginning characters they are the ones who should have the best shot at the rewards.

    I do agree with your point about not wanted to be completely locked out of lower level Fleet Actions, I just want to limit access to the rewards so that it goes to the target audience.

    yes the solution is so simple, only give the rewards out to the players with the applicable rank or lower. if higher level players are in the instance they can participate bu not get any reward.

    i love going back and redoing repeatable lower level missions, i don't want any rewards from them. even if i was forced to only use a runabout at admiral that would be fine haha.

    if there was a ship tier restriction as well it would give me a reason to dust off the old lower level ships [or buy a new one just to fly around and pewpew in those earlier missions. gives a reason to spend more energy credits .

    These are good suggestoons, though something needs to be done soon.
