So.. he's mad that defense mission cool-downs are based on mission turnin time and not acceptance time? Whatever, go do some other missions then.. The Federation (or Klingon Empire) can use you elsewhere just the same.

Translation:
It appears there are cool downs on Defend chicken, and i disapprove. I feel that if we want to level this way rather than Ride horses up a hill, then that is my right as a player base. It is difficult to find Chinese food, and the ones that deliver take 30 minutes. Something unrelated takes 15 minutes, but i don't mind as it is just their way of making me play other content.

<speaking in a very loud tone used by ignorant people that think by doing so will help the other person to understand>
honestly, until there's more TRIBBLE to do, I dunno why anyone would want to level faster. I'm already RA4 and I did I think 1 set of defend missions. I mean, friggin boring.
Sux really bad when your Admiral already, and the only things we have to do are these types of things.. now we have to wait 30 mintues after an explore mission ? blow me cryptic.. you guys just make this game worse and worse with each patch
It seems to be less of halting power leveling...and simply prolonging the game in general. They still have a good chunk of time before that special 45-day 'update' they promised.
Before - You go into a deep space encounter. hail whichever NPC handles the defend mission in that sector block, take the mission. Instance jump until you land into a encounter that's not on the reset timer or close to done. When it finishes instance jump to another that's almost done or not on the counter. By doing this you could finish the defend missions, all 3 sets, in well under 5 minutes. Then just hail the NPC and take another one. It was the optimum way to power level, you would collect multiple levels every hour.
Now - There's a 30 minute cool down on these missions. Doesn't really hurt the people who do this honestly, less they are that damn fast (and kudos to you then), but stops the advantage of instance jumping.

Don't forget that the cooldown starts upon ACCEPTING the mission, not RETURNING it. That means if it takes you 20 minutes to finish the mission, you'll only have 10 minutes cooldown left. In terms of exploration missions, this is actually a huge buff, heh.

Seriously?! You guys can actually translate this into something meaningful? Wow, that's mind-boggling.

Sorry, the only other thing for a Klingon to do at all is pvp, so no, they don't have any choices really.
The cooldown stinks for those who want to grind xp that way or are looking for a drop or two. I see no reason for having added this other than the fact that a lot of people are high level already. Now, if they have done it in order to halt the gear farming (especially from higher rank people) from places like Starbase 24, then I'm for it.
I wouldn't know, as my account name is one of the ones they aren't letting in because they broke the account server.

As you stated about instance jumping, I'm against it. It's gaming the game so to speak.
But... it could appeal to people who don't like to use their mind. As evidenced by the OP's communication skills and willingness to do Defend missions to make Admiral. A mind numbing proposition to those with an ounce of imagination or creativity.
Heavens to betsy! So, there are cool downs on defend missions. That is just freaking lame! So, what if we wanted to level rather than do some of the lame missions? That's our choice. It will make it hard to find groups. I mean, really 30 minutes? Maybe it takes 15 minutes, but whatever its just their way of making us do their missions.
There, I fixed it for you!
Allow me to rebut against the OP. The Defend missions are not intended to be a primary source of experience. If you do not want to do the intended content for leveling up, then that is your problem. However, there are many who would think that simply flying around in the same zone, blasting the same mobs into smithereens for hours at a time is pretty lame. If that's what makes a good game for you, go play Asteroids.
Also, exploration missions take less time to level than doing defend missions. You don't actually need to grab an exploration mission from a mission contact. Just head into where they have all of the anamolies and start exploring. Avoid the "Aid the Planet" missions though. Those are a waste of resources and cargo space.

Laugh out loud.
lol, this gave me a giggle

this is the best my translator could come up with
Lol nice one
i think he's trying to impart that he is very hot and he has a distinct lack of A/C? i dunno...
This is just plain classic.

FOURTY TWO! <pleasant smile>
This,
I made captain doing the defend missions... time to actually play the game now doing real missions.
coupled with missions added for +43 levels...

Junior Member <--correct!
Jeez - why would anyone want to 'play' that way??

What is a, "lamn?" Can you eat it?
