You dreamed it, i made it... a Stardate Clock on your desktop !

Morning / Evening,

I have a small gift for the community of Star Trek Online, and more particularly the Trekkies among you, today I created a small clock giving current Stardate but also that of STO (if calculations are right) to put directly on your desktop!

Here is the Stardate Clock:
Therefore continue our tour of this wonderful presentation (yes I know :p), in addition to giving you the current Stardate and that of STO, you can calculate a Stardate in his options window, with the choice again the present time or STO Time. Perfect for organizing RP events!
The clock is in French and English I think that everyone is enjoy :D

Yet I have two comments about the converter date:

* When you use "This time" preset, you couldn't set a date more than 2020
* When you use "Time STO" present, you must put a date between 2322 and 2430

This is because there are 3 STO calendars, which is an extrapolation of our gregorian calendar, another using a different Stardate format under TOS (quite chaotic because no real time reference) and that used for TNG (and apparently in STO because the dates stick).

To download this clock, select the version that you want :
PS: I'm not in charge if you get lost in time travel or anything else, you accept these terms by downloading this clock :D.

    Hmmmm..

    I like.

I made a functioning "LCARS" desktop for windows 7. Sounds, computer voice, etc. Only bad thing is, dual monitor it doesn't scale right when the game goes fullscreen on one side.

The clock would not go forward or backwards...it would go sideways.
    does that help?

    no?

time in my mind is very different then how you experience it.

Picture if you will....a jug of water. If you slowly pour the water it flows like a stream till it hits the floor.
Most people consider time to flow much like the stream of water.

My mind however....views time like the water slowly spreading from the point of contact with the floor...expanding outwards from all directions at the same time. occupying all the surface area....

    That help?
    Make my clock!

No, not hate... At least not on my part.

I have a friend who's Canadian. She crossed the border, went to law school and married a man from Tennessee. We're pretty much certain she knows everything--she'd be like a Q. So, it wasn't hate. Sorry!

I vaguely recall someone at the Christmas family get-together talking about going up to Toronto to visit some friends of theirs.. talking about the woman being a lawyer and the husband being from TN..

Just thinking the odds against another combination of said elements as being quite high.

This sounds like a great idea, however your download links look to be broken, at least from my end.

Can anyone point me at these?

    Seriously?

This is almost a year old. I'm no support tech, but i'm pretty confident that the reason the links don't work anymore might have something to do with the age of the topic.

    I'm just saying.

Which is exactly why I ask about it. The site that the links point to looks to be gone, however a blog site on the same domain exists still.

It's worth an ask, you never know if it got hosted elsewhere unless you ask.
