yes. as a matter of fact they start to appear after i8 play for about 2 hours. mine will get far worse however as the longer i play, textures will warp and stretch all over the place. turning the in game vert sync will correct 80% of the issue but it will only last for another 15-20 min, then turning it off again will do the same thing... every 15 min i have to mess with vert sync to correct it. turning shadows off will keep this from occurring as quickly.

one incredibly odd thing. i updated to the newest Directx software release, and it fixed the entire problem for about 2 days of game play. it was nice to play the game in max settings for once without problems. but alas, 2 days later its back to its old tricks again. my guess is a memory leak. i love the game, i just wish i could play it in high detail without the textures freaking out after 2 hours. oh btw its not over heating my card, i'm monitoring the heat with riva tuner, card stays about 65c in intense sequences.

Your graphics card is overheating or is overclocked.

Try this fix. On your launcher, click options. Under advanced command line enter -perframesleep 10

When you go ingame, in the chatbox, type /maxfps 40

It SHOULD stop these issues. If it doesnt, then something funky is happening with your card.

it's a BFG card so ya it's overclocked. heat wise i'm not pushing anything dangerous, as i stated 65c tops on a card that is built to run hotter, safely.

didn't do anything for me. appreciate the help though.

regarding something wrong with my card. i dont have an issue with any other game at all. out of the 20 some odd new game releases in the last few months, this is the only one that has an issue at all. well i shouldn't say that, champions actually had some major issues too but i cancelled and unistalled when resolutions were not being found. funny, both cryptic games. not trying to to insinuate anything at all. i just find it funny that these are the only games i have problems with.

i'm still willing to stick around and try things though, as i love this game.

It is not the game, it is the engine. Subtle distinction. Both Champions and STO use the same game engine. So really the best way is to do basic trouble shooting. I found I have having issues with my graphics due to the Dynamic Lighting...turning that off helped allot. So really turn it all off and play. After a while start turning things back up...when you hit what breaks it, bug it.
