I'm getting environment flickering on random spots, planet side, and I corrected this by turning the light quality to low, but the light quality doesn't lower my FPS that much at all, so I'd like to keep this on. I'm using an eVGA 8800GT with the latest drivers, is there a way to correct this?
If you talking about textures flickering when weapons are firing...it is the Dynamic Lighting. I have a 8600GTS and when I have dynamic on any indoor scene will spaz out. Turning off Dynamic Lighting fixed the issue for me. Please note, Light Quality and Number of lights will not help or hinder this. Only turning off Dynamic Lighting will in my experience.
I have the same problem on a 9800gt . I know this card runs the same chipset as the 8800 series ( its the g92). I guess I will have to turn dynamic lighting off, I just wish there was a better fix for this (dynamic lighting is pretty). Its funny my friend has the same problem on his 9600 and neither of us had any graphical problems until one of the later open beta patches. I noticed this only happens on interior environments too and never in space.
I found out a temp work around from playing with this, the LIght Quality, switch from low back to high (if it's on high already). That works for a while, usually a session.

At least that helps a bit, if this thread doesn't pick up I'm gonna contact eVGA and put that lifetime warranty to use.
