Defend the sirius sector... HOW?!

It doesn't say where to go on this mission to stop three enemy ships or whatever. What exactly does it expect me to do?

    Once you get near an enemy on the sector map, you will be sent into a "Deep Space Encounter" instance. If you zone in and the counter is at 5 minutes, that means the group just finished. So you can click in your upper right hand corner above the map and change instances until you find one in process or just getting started.

    Is the sector map the one with the various systems, or is this a different map?

    I've yet to see any enemies there.

    Just fly around, you'll see Klingon NPC ships flying around try to bump them for a battle. Also, look for like little red "dust clouds". Those are also signal contacts. You can go in and join.

    A couple weeks from now you will come to hate these when they automatically pull you in while your flying around. That is one of the most annoying things to me.

    Go down near to the Starbase 24 area. This is usually where you will see red enemies on the map. Typically there are 2-3 at a time. When a session is finished the enemy spawn reboots. It's a replayable mission.

    The worst is when you are selling to a trade ship and you get sucked away into a battle. And by the time you manage to exit, the trade ship has wandered off...
