Minefield - Precious Cargo: enemies slightly overpowered

During the mission Minefield, Precious Cargo you encounter a lot of romulans, that are overpowered compared to other MOBs of the same level.
Not only do they have at least double hitpoints and triple shields than my well equipped team, they also have a large amount of scientists and engineers, what results in overly long fights, regardless of the strategy (if you do the mission at the appropriate level).
This is not challenging, that is boring in my opinion.
Better would be: raise their damage output and reduce their shield and health healing abilities.

Up until now, most Klingons, Orions, and so forth are easy to drop in a few hits. Romulans also may have phaser or disrupter resistances (not certain). so it may not be that they are overpowered, but just more difficult than you are used to.
