I recently bought STO game with the 30days free trial from GAME in the UK. I put in my key in
www.startrekonline.com/enterkey and i says i have subscribed for 30 days STO trial and now its saying enter the game card key and i dont have it. Do i have to pay more to play the game? i am quite disappointed in this.
Any suggestions? do i need to pay 1 month subsciption in order to use the damn 30 days trial?

If you buy the normal retail box, you must enter some form of subscription to acivate your game. Once your subscription is set up, you can remove your billign details, so they dont charge you after your 30 days are up. Every major MMO company does this.
Yes i have the DS9 code and the manual activation code for 30 days trial. That was all i got.
You should have the code on the back of the manual. That is your game code. Once you enter that under http://www.startrekonline.com/activate (make sure you are logged in first) you should be prompted to enter your supscription/billing information. Enter that code first, then any other code you have.

You still need to enter subcription details before you can play , CC or game card
I enter the key i put in from the back of my manual game book and it only has my 30 days trial activate code. This comes up and i tried putting in the same code and i thought id use the DS9 code as well and still nothing.

Where do i fill this in? sorry but im new to this lol.
Whatever you do, you need to put a subscription on the account to ativate it. Every MMO does this.
you should then be sent to a subscription page where yu select the recuring subscription option.
after you select one you will then be taken to payment method where you have to enter a credit card, game time card or paypal account.
after the payment method is verifed then your account will be active with the 30 days free time (you will not be charged for teh subscription until after the 30 days)
And to reply to the whole all major MMO's do this... not true. Lotro does not. Way better system than this tbh. Tho nothing against this game. I'm a trekkie. But this system just sucks bigtime.
I would also like to add that I bought the collector's edition and received no extra 'trial key' with it.
