Getting stuck in missions

I'm finding that I'm getting stuck with a semi-regular basis in missions, especially when using the phaser rifles. I find I cannot move, and my laser sight is on, and I'm constantly repeating the aiming motion, but nothing's happening. I can only abort the mission to move again. Anyone else having this issue also?

    have the same problems with space missions, Ship freezes can't move or fire and you get trashed by other ships.Sent complaint to tech support no response.

    Don't use sniper shot weapons, use split beam ones. They're just all-around better.

    Sure, it might not be the best solution, but it works and you'll kill stuff faster.

    Got a similar problem with a disruptor expose-weapon (doing AoE blast) during the Regulus - mission.
