Number pad 9 and 0 do not work.

Please fix this bug ASAP.

For those of use that do NOT use WASD for controls, the number kep pad is very important.

I need 9 and 0 of the number key pad to be hot keyed and also be able to use them on the hot bar as well.

Please.

It works for me, but I had to turn Num Lock off before I could bind it.

Works for me as well. Try clicking your numlock or click your alt key a few times.

You had to turn number lock off for it to work?

    That makes no sense. :)

    It simply does not work.

I can not bind anything to 9 or 10 nor does anything I put in 9 or 0 on the hot bar respond to me hitting the 9 or 0 key in the number pad. I even tried three different key boards and I have 5 different friends who play this game who have the exact same problem.

Also I have seen this posted before, so i know it is an issue.

When you turn your number pad off, and you assign an action to 9 or 0, what does the game say that key is called?

BTW, I checked with people in game and EVERYONE who responded to my question (like 12 people) all said 9 and 0 did not work on their key board in the number pad area.

    I can confirm this too...

the 9 and 0 on then num pad do not do the same as the regular 9 and 0. other numbers do.

Any devs out there that can comment on if this will get resloved?

I only used zero, but it calls the key "Numpad 0" and I bound it to Ground ability #2. It works for me. I haven't tried it on a binding for space. Maybe it's different.

Well, I, my fleet, my friends and people in game all tried it and it did not work.

9 and 0 do not work in the number pad.

    DEVS?

    Any word?

I like to play WASD and put my right hand on the numpad and realized it doesn't work for me too.

Very first day of OB I relocated my key bindings to use the numpad and have been using it ever since. I use the . [Del] key for target next enemy and the 0 [Ins] key for mouse over interact with zero problems. I didnt even have to remap my keys when we went live in headstart. :D Sucks, I had to remap them when I made my Klingon though. Oh and i use 7 and 9 for strafe left and right for ground movement.

Yeah, I noticed that too when I rolled another Fed character. That's another one for the suggestion box... allow the bindings to carry over from one character to the next.

I guess some people might want different bindings for different characters, though... but I find it annoying personally.

Hmmm...worked for me too. I was trying to assign some command to shift+numberpad1, but it wouldn't let me do it. Then I turned off the NumLock and not only was I able to assign commands to shift+numlberpad, but 9 and 0 started working as well. They were named the same as the other number pad keys (numberpad). :)

I don't use WASD either. Number keys were working fine for me yesterday. Those two keys I use quite frequently. I use Numpad 9 for increase throttle and Numpad 0 for full impulse.

Got to Options/Keybinds and change the Control +1 and Control +2 to 9 and 0 respectively I believe and it should work. That is what I did.
