Where is my Best Buy Preorder "exclusives"? I could care less that you screwed up the pre orders with damn near every company it seems. I just want you to acknowledge that you know about the Best Buy preorder snafu. You updated the missing items page with other companies. Why not Best Buy? I havent found seen one person that told me they got there goods. I have seen at least a dozen different people who said they DIDNT get there goods. My cs ticket is in limbo since launch...
Not sure about BestBuy, but I ordered from Atari and didnt get my items. Put in a ticket about a week ago, still no response, however I logged in today and my items are there. They ARE working on it, but apparently they arent letting people know which is kind of lame.
Hard to say what the problem is, but I'm 99% sure that they're looking into it. My general feeling is that they are reading more threads than they're posting in, and fixing more problems than they're commenting on.
There is a thread started by Cryptic http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=98535 It has been edited by cryptic to update. I would have no problem waiting around like you guys did, if they would put BB on that thread so I know I havent been "overlooked".
Hey cryptic not sure if you know this, but people that got a Best buy preorder did not recieve there exclusives. Why havent you responded to one post about it? How could you not have the exclusives ready to go? WTF?!? You have failed to deliver once again. I already know I have been burned for my faith in this game. But what little time this game has left, make it enjoyable.
I applaud the accomplishments of the STO staff in bringing Star Trek Online to us the eager game player. I fully understand the massive amount of work and problem solving that comes with launching such a massive endeavor. However, there is the customer side. One must not assume that because the product you have is in so much demand that it really doesnt matter weather you lose a few or not. My belief is that every customer is important and customers have family and friends after all nothing can beat word of mouth advertising, which, can translate into future customers. Therefore lending a lack luster approach to customer issues can create problems. Frankly, logistic for game play issues and problems that may accurr should have been factored in the planning of the game. Trust me I understand the great amount of work as well as planning involved but, still you do have something going here with STO that can give other competitors a run for there money. One issue that has seemed have reared its head from what I perceive from friends I have playing the game here on the east coast is the, You are not allowed to log into the server at this time. This is occurring daily some of us only have a window of time to get in some game play and we find that we cannot. Paying for services that you cant get access to when you want doesnt sound or look like good customer service. To top it off it seems no one is trying to address the problem. Other issues include the purchase of Cryptic points that dont show on the account in or out of game. Working access to the website email. Im sure there are many problems customers are having with their accounts. Im not bashing you guys, I know you have a lot on your plate but how about taking care of some the customer account issues that seem to be getting larger. I think it's lame there are people like us who want what we paid for and our roomates/friends whoever is also playing get some bonuses great but I want the one that were offered for only one day and there "website and E-mails" Tell me to follow links after I called twice was "inline" for "customer service" :mad: I don't get a sorry I get sir that promo is no longer up and we can't give it to you because you didn't get it in time. :eek: Even worse blame me because YOUR Cryptic is service is that Hidden as all hell.
Yeah its been over a week since I put my ticket in about the pre orders. No response. I put a bug ticket in and it got repsonded to 2 times in 2 days... Pull your head out of the sand and answer me...

I picked up my copy from bestbuy and managed to claim my pet reward.
Found it by accident really, trying to fish through all of the menu.
Think it might have been in the C-store...it was wherever you claim the special titles like Ambasador or Special Envoy

yeah c-store upside down triangle.... Thats how i ended up with the chromodynamic armor, automated defense turret, 500 c-store points. There is something wrong on MY ACCOUNT. No response from cryptic. yes I used the in game support, out of game support, forums. Nothing. Yes I completely blame cryptic. 1 week for a response is more than long enough.
Also maybe you and your friends had the collectors edition.

No, we had the normal pre-order, no collector editions. Not saying it's only your account, but just pointing out it's not all Best Buy customers. Which would point to something on Cryptic's end rather than Best Buy's end.
Maybe you had a digital version. I dont know. I do know I am not the only one. Others have the same claims. I have pm'd 2 board mods. I think coderanger was one of them. I think it has to do with me being a lifetime member. There is no hurry on my account. I cant cancel! :mad:

I got my pre-order from Best Buy and purchased the Collector's Edition from them. I got the tribble/targ, the uniform, and so forth that I should from that combination on day one. The only problem I had was that, instead of the Red Matter Capacitor I was supposed to get, I got the Constitution Class starter ship. I reported both facts, and after a few days, my Red Matter Capacitor showed up but the option for the Constitution Class ship has not gone away -- at least, not on my existing character; I have not started another to see if he would have it.
So I have everything I was supposed to get from my Best Buy pre-order, and then some.
