Not advocating it; Im not, but if theres any of you that are staying here to troll cause you got a lifetime and feel shafted now, heres an option that will allow you to move on:
Tatsumasa1: if you want to cancel call 1-408-404-1714 ext 1231. took some work to find this. hope it helps any others in the same boat. be prepared to wait on hold for a very very long time (>20 minutes) i got refunded for my lifetime subscription.
So if the only reason you are dtaying is cause you bought the lifetime, you can call that.
last post. I mean it this time lol

They are legal obligied to offer you a refund if its a service you havnt had so if lifetime the service dosnt begin until after your 30 days.
BUT be warned you will lose lifetime perks aka borg captain and extra slots.
Im gona wait before making a decison on this rushing in is not the best approach and this may turn out to be a good game.
So dont rush a decision let it play out a whiile.
You can send a support ticket to billing to get a refund also.
You should have invested in the Lifetime Subscription yourself if you are a big enough fan.
But to sum up, yes if you purchased lifetime you can get a refund. Given all the crashes and lack of content, glad I did.
or have a lot of money
I have many unanswered tickets in so i believe the only way to get their attention is to start hitting their bottom line.
I've gone from really liking this game, to "waking up" and realizing what a terrible mistake I might have made.
No way they would make this a sticky, unless they wanted to dig their own grave.
Bookmark it lol
all us lifers should
I'll either stick w/ the Lifetime sub and hope they add actual, enjoyable, repeatable, Trek-like content over the next months, in which case I will have been glad I kept the sub...
Or refund it, then pay-and-play on a month-by-month basis when the urge arises for some "quick and shallow" space combat.
As of now, the game is really just a (barely) enhanced version of SFC to me, and that just aint worth $250.
Deaf ears, bro, deaf ears. You realize that most people coming in here to get this probably didn't eve hit the forums during OB and headstart, don't you?
I for one am staying with this product. I understand the reasoning behind problems some people are having with STO. Some are experiencing the "to high expectation" thing. Some are finding out theyr systems cannot actually handle the game. Some Don't have any real experience with MMORPG's (e.g. played only one or two, this is their first MMORPG), then there is "buyers remorse", Others simply are thrashing rage filled monkeys. what ever the reason I hope you find the peace of mind you seek.
As for the vote with your dollar attitude, I am betting Cryptic sees the LTS as a service, not a quick buck. The fewer LTS there are the greater their potential revenue is going to be over time.
Good luck and best wishes to all who feel they need to leave
HAHAHA I do not think that will be happening but nice to ask
I am sure it would i dont think that any sub would be restricted from it. but who knows
I hear ya bro I will be keeping the game for minimum 3 months because I want to see what is ahead. For those of you looking for an MMO that have not played one yet go pick up a copy of Lord Of The Rings Online it is like 20 bucks plenty of people on there and pretty easy to grasp for an MMO and alot of fun I have rather enjoyed it more than I did WoW.
I was debating the exact same thing, and I chose the latter. I do not think Cryptic is capable of creating the game we expected, or anything even close to it.
