I'm brand spanking new to MMO gaming. I participated in the STO beta, the headstart and have been playing all week like many of you. I've experienced some of the downtimes, but I didn't really think to cry about it. But after visiting this forum, I have to ask.... Are most MMO players such cry babies like I've seen on this forum or are the examples I see here apart of a 'special breed'?
Is this the average
STO player? Don't get me wrong, the threads comical to read. I was just wondering if that's the norm since I've never dealt with MMO players up except for seeing some at the pitiful looking corner of MLG Dallas' WoW tournament. That was nicknamed 'the forgotten corner'.
But hey, thumbs up to you whiners! It gives me something funny to read while I'm at work and nothing major is happening in the news.

I's usually the same handful of whiny brats that are good enough to nerd rage and provide amusing opportunities to make snide remarks at their temper tantrums while waiting for servers to come back up.
Welcome to a whole new world of fun, their tears make me smile
