My borg is not what was promised

I remember reading that the Bridge officer borg would come with special abilities that other bridge officers would not have. The Devs even put in a post that the Borg B.O. would have some special ability that has to do with nanites. Well I got my borg today and it has no special ability. Its the exact same as every other bridge officer except it has a borg costume. Nothing special with this borg abilitywise. Why did the devs have to lie about the Borg having special abilities? Why couldnt they just say its going to be a regular bridge officer with a borg costume?

    They've already said they have the abilities and are using them, but there's a display bug that prevents you from seeing them. Unfortunately you can't go check the dev tracker during downtime...

    The only thing promised about the Borg Bridge Officers were that they'd have exclusive RACIAL TRAITS, unavailable to other Bridge Officers (thus making them exclusive). It isn't Cryptic's or Amazon.com's fault that you don't know the difference between a racial trait and a Bridge Officer ability.

    Its all a marketing con and a lie, look at WoW Lich King FLYING COMBAT MOUTNS !!! ... oh they removed them jsut before release. they get you to get all exited and preorder and buy and half if not all of the items are now useless. the borg looks cool but removing their special skils is unacceptable and disgusting as i did everything i could to secure my copy from amazon.

    They are probably referring to the borg trait nanites that increase health and shield? regeneration for the officer on ground.

    only thing wrong with the Borg BO was tha tthey are ALL engineering, it would have been NICE to have the choice what field they filled. Tactical, science or engineering.

    Borg Bridge Officer
    Each character created receives a reclaimed Borg Bridge Officer to assist him in space and on the ground. The Borg Bridge Officer possesses unique abilities not otherwise available to players. Bridge Officers can serve with the players for the entire game experience. These special Officers are customizable and have the following starting powers:

    Ground Abilities,
    * Ensign: Shield Recharge 1
    * Lieutenant: Weapons Malfunction II
    * Lt. Commander: Shield Generator Malfunction II
    * Commander: Reroute Power to Shields III

    Space Abilities,
    * Ensign: Emergency Power to Shields I
    * Lieutenant: Engineering Team II
    * Lt. Commander: Directed Energy Modulation II
    * Commander: Aceton Field III

    From the FAQ here http://www.startrekonline.com/exclusives
    Guess they changes them, ah well.

    the borg boff posses nanite regeneration in ground combat and most likely has the neural toxin we borg captains can pick as a trait as well, it slows the enemy 75% and can stun it for 30 seconds in bursts of 3 seconds. their actual bridge powers are standard, wish more people were literate above a kindergarten reading level.

    Ah I see. BOs already have unique abilities that are not otherwise available to players, it's a clever spin.
