Downtime = ?

So many times when these things happen right after launch the DEV team tries to make it "right" by giving us a title, or extra xp over a weekend, or something like a stupid items that changes our character into an alien.

I just want to say, and speak up if you agree, this kind of "payback" for downtime is old, over-used, and frankly just not good enough. Especially for all the people who helped as hard as we could during Beta to get this all worked out. And frankly, the people who have been playing since Beta are just tired of it.

Ok, sound off!

    Yea! i want no less than a steak dinner at a 5 star restaurant and a $75 check.
    If this keeps up for more than a month, we had all better get paid vacations to a country of our choice, with a no-limit credit card to use as we please on the trip!

    That is the only thing that could possibly be reasonable for the downtime we face.

    It amazes me that all the whiners out there say their should never be unexpected downtime. in case you didnt know their are several several things that can go wrong with websites, internet things etc.. as a matter of fact public government offices have been TRIBBLE into and have had down time. world of warcraft when it first came out had DAYS of downtime. i remember the week it came out the servers were down for over 36 hours. get used to any game that you play to have downtime when it first comes out.

    It is one things to whine. It is a completely different thing to say, hey, don't TRIBBLE this up with and be like all the other games out there and throw a weak offer at us to keep our respect. No one is asking for the world, but I believe making monthly charges $5 until they can offer 99% up-time is reasonable.

    As a consumer i would LOVE a huge discount for a mild inconvenience. But since we are talking fair, i have to say what you believe to be reasonable is incredibly unreasonable. i suppose that would be reasonable if the servers were down 16 hours (2/3 of a day) a day, every day. Not the case here though. So i don't see how it is reasonable to ask for a 2/3 Discount on your subscription.
