This is not a joke anymore. The servers are down again. I don't have unlimited time to play. Friday nights and some of the weekend are it and the servers are down MOST OF THAT TIME; to top it off, the website won't allow you to enter a ticket because, well, I don't know why. They can make a gorgeous space simulator but have trouble with a simple ticket submission system.

We need to be reimbursed for this time. This is worse than beta testing software. It's not free. It's $50 bucks to _NOT PLAY_. That's criminal.

It's funny but every time I read one of these threads post-launch I'm convinced that none of the people complaining participated in Head Start or Open Beta. If they did they'd be thrilled with how stable the servers have been since going live. Personally, I've been very pleased ... but that's only because I sufferred through the nightmare of Open Beta and Head Start.

Here's a solution: don't buy an MMO at launch if you're not prepared to deal with bugs, downtime, or problems with customer service.

"I only have X time on weekends" or "I just put the kids to bed and cant play" does not make you a special snowflake.

I'm beggining to think they're lazy for allowing such mistakes.

Get used to it - all through open beta and headstart primtime and weekends meant more time down than up - in fact, as time went on it got worse (i.e. worse from open beta start to headstart end).

I was in the head-start. I pre-paid, showed support and I wasn't able to play because it was down most of the time. If your car didn't run 3 out of 4 times you wanted to go for a ride, you'd say something like. "It's at least better than when I picked it up without an engine 2 weeks ago"

    C'mon.

I makes me a consumer. What is it with fanboys and defending a release that was frankly too early?

Be honest: is this your first MMO?

I believe this game will ultimately be the best one Cryptic has ever done. With uncounted numbers of Trekkies riding their TRIBBLE, they will make it a great game, or die LOL

Of course it isn't a joke. When was it ever?

Ask yourself this: If Friday night and the weekend are the only time for you to play, when do you think everybody else is trying to play?

Yes the server status is really annoying.

    Yes, they're working on it.

You will probably be reimbursed (I've played about 10 different MMOs at launch and every one of them reimbursed downtime during the initial launch month).

There isn't much you can do, and it's not like Cryptic aren't aware that their servers are down so stop worrying about it.
