I disagree with this. If you honestly want to name your ship something "authentic-sounding," all the names would be taken within a month. You'd spend 3 hours going through "Name Already Taken" screens trying to come up with something.

Try; "All the names would be taken at headstart." Thereby denying all of the regular customers who did not preorder their chosen name.

It's ridiculous.
EX: I name my char "Jane"
No one else, in the history of STO, can be named Jane...when in reality Jane is a really common name.
