You know how easy a server maintenance warning would be?

You really should give us 30 minutes' warning in-game when you're going to bring the server down. It's bad enough we all play on the same server and have to get kicked off all at once, but we need some warning. Next time have a window popped up with a timer telling us how long we have before lights out instead of kicking us off without warning. I was finally attempting a mission that'd been interrupted three times because of glitches, and I just got kicked off again! I'm ****ed. Please do something.

You're sure friendly. The server said, "Down for maintenance", so I assumed it was scheduled! In the future maybe they should say, "We can't keep this piece of &$%# running!"

    When there's planned server maintenance there are system messages 1hr, 30mins, 15mins, 10mins & 5mins before shutdown.

When the server throws a hissy fit and crashes, there is no warning.

^ Heh. Most companies I've seen are even courteous enough to give you warning the day before or even several days in advance.

The main site has a widget that says either up or maintenance, the building that holds the servers could explode and the website would say maintenance... if the web server was in a separate building lol.

I really don't see the point in this topic.

Considering they did post a message like 10 minutes before saying they would be bringing the server down due to an EMERGENCY MAINTENENCE. If you can't read the server messages floating in front of your screen because you changed your UI to show it off screen where you can't see it, I strongly recommend changing it back to default.

But, agreed, they should've said that they will be coming down definately in 10 minutes, or 5 minutes, rather then a "We will be coming down for an Emergency Maintenence, we will get back to you".

Emergency Maintence is a code for sever crash often time. If there is no warning, then its a server crash, like the two today.
