Doh!

Well, while we're here. What's there to do after you hit RADM 5? I noticed that there aren't enough skill points at that level to actually spec your weps and ship effectively. If only they didn't make you spend them to level...

How about you play the game and find out? Only a moron FAILS a game after playing it for a freaking week.

Fanbois will always make excuses. And they will get even more nonsensical as Stockholm Syndrome takes full effect.

I don't know why all MMO's underestimate subscription numbers at launch. You'd think buying a little extra capacity would be efficient compared to loosing the number of people that wait a week or two after launch to see how stable the new game is before buying it.
But just like every other MMO (save AoC), they didn't.

wow, that's definitely the bestest fail ever (note the "server down for maintenance" part on the top of the website )

I'm sure the servers they buy cost thousands of dollars, not to include maintenance and the hiring of competent personnel to manage said servers.

Who says the server was brought down because of capacity issues? Any number of software, hardware, or networks bugs and / or failures could have caused the outage.

Like all MMOs at release, once you reach max level, you go to the noob area and impress the chicks.

Balance it out. Keeping existing customers while attracting new ones should be one of their top priorities. It isn't, and I don't know why.

Any number could have, but capacity issues were the one issue that Cryptic actually admitted to. The chat lag, long load times and sector space rubberbanding all point in one direction.

What I wanna know is how long has the OP been waiting to rush to the forum to post about how the game failed <LOL>.

Hey, ya know what? They've been making cars for over a hundred years now. And waddayaknow! Toyota has a big recall right now because of a sticking pedal. "OMG! Toyota FAIL! They like, made a buggy product! OOOoO Now watch all the Toyota fannnnboooissssss come out defending it!!! oook ookk ug oook!"

Nothing fanboish about pointing out that TRIBBLE happens and games crash. Some of you haters act like it's a never before heard of phenomenon. Fact of the matter is, the true 'fanbois' here are you haters who always put down the game. Your irrational expectations of utter perfection and the extreme feelings of betrayal you feel when a game, a simple stupid game, doesn't live up to the hype YOU heaped upon it borders on the psychopathic. Heck, some of you have been following Cryptic from early COH prophesysing dooooom to whatever endeavor they were working on over some stupid nerf no one else even remembers. I think we all know what happens to jilted fanbois...they become enraged stalkers.

It could be a possiblity that if there are indeed purchased respecs, then the ability to properly respec a RADM is part of a larger plan for cryptic income.... who really knows?

But I agree that unless they increase the skill point cap, we don't have too many options to really get the most out of our maxxed characters without following some cookie-cutter spec.

Here's to hoping for the best.

You meantioned reading comprehension fail in an earlier post? Methinks you might try a bit of reading yourself from the STO site RE: Future expansion and Raid content that's coming:

Um, the "active now" statement is that to which I was referring. Not future content. More reading comprehension fail. Oy!
