when they leave for the evening and there's still lots of people waiting on hold for an answer to a question or problem...been on hold for 1 hour and now it's 3 after closing time.....
Well I don't think it is legal to work 24 hour shifts in the state of California. I would also imagine those people have families they have to come home to, maybe kids to take care of.
This wont help I know, but it seems to be all companies these days. Customer Service that is actually adequate is a thing of the past. From your electric company, to your phone bill, to simply trying to get a burger from a local drive through.
Cryptic could dare to be different. Would be nice.

Yea, you were actually the only person on hold, and all the Support folk were just sitting around a phone and laughing at you while picking out the lamest music for you to listen too. Then they High fived each other as they walked out the door, Still laughing about how long they managed to keep you on hold.

I've never known a company to have their billing department open 24/7. Support, yes. Sales, maybe. Billing, no.
Kind of futile to point the finger at Cryptic when it's a norm throughout the world.

So could every other company.
