Ususaly Devs will read these posts. But they will not respond. Usualy the info is collected and compiled into a list of things to investigate. Its up to people like me and the other techies out there to take time out to come here and answer T/S issues. I enjoy it personlly as I am a field engineer in real life and I don't mind answering tech support questions.

Maybe if you stated your problem.

A lot of problems have been posted and answered,A majority of the time it is other posters giving the solution.

Cryptic is not a pc problem fixer,if there is a problem with the game they will try and help but around 80% of problems on these pages are pc related and do not need a dev to answer.

    Couldn't be said better.

OP, Also if you noticed this a "Peer to Peer" support forum not a Cryptic to buyer support forum.

Just ask your question and we will do our best to help.

    download the new 196 driver.

I still use the 195.62 but some people were having problems with that but it seems the new 196 driver has sorted that out for them.

What model is your graphic card? Maybe I can help you get a newer driver for it.

Sorry about this, but I'm having problems with the NVIDIA driver (or card?) as well. I've got a GeForce 220 GT card running on a quad core machine with 8 gigs memory (Windows 7, 64bit). The window that keeps popping up states that the nvidia driver kernel has failed and has recovered. Unfortunately, it happens about every 3-5 secs when it's really throwing a fit. Other times, it's not as frequent. Eventually, it kills the client all together. I've run the latest beta driver, the 196.21, and the 190.62. That hasn't had any affect on the problem.

Do you know what temps your graphics card is running at?
I usualy have that problem if the card is running too hot.

Also the 220GT is a lower end card and even if you do get it to run it will likely be sluggish. Keep your settngs to recommended or low.

I'm not sure that I know where to find that. The problem appears to come and go whenever it feels like it. I've played for hours with little interruption, or get it as soon as I get to the character selection screen. I do appreciate you responding though.

    download this program:-

    http://www.cpuid.com/download/hwmonitor/HWMonitor_115_setup.exe

Run it, look for your Graphics card ID, and note the temps.
