Version Mismatch?

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
Servers are up and the maintenance is over from what I read here

But I login, patch, and get a "version mismatch" message.

Help?

You have to patch the game before playing again, happened to me too once I just left the Login screen on and tried to play again after servers were back.

Just close the game and start the launcher again.

I've done that a few times. I don't get any more patch downloads.

Then go to the options menue in the launcher and choose the "force full check" (or something like that) option, it should verify all your files again then (takes some time, don't forget to turn it off again on next LogIn).

I've done that as well (I'm trying it a second time as we speak), but every time I try and do a force full verify, the launcher crashes partway through the check.

and there goes the launcher crash and then when I restart I got:

"Error 35: The programmer screwed up somewhere. Something that shouldn't have happened did"

Which I have to admit is the most awesome error I have ever seen!

After "Error 35" I got a little patch and everything is good to go!

*laughs* Oh my, I hope you made a screenshot of that one! :D

Ok, here is something I found posted by a cryptic guy, maybe it helps, other option seems to be a clean reinstall...

"You can try enabling the Patch via Proxy option. It may help, though it might also make things slower so don't leave it on if it doesn't improve your speed."
