You have to patch the game before playing again, happened to me too once I just left the Login screen on and tried to play again after servers were back.
Then go to the options menue in the launcher and choose the "force full check" (or something like that) option, it should verify all your files again then (takes some time, don't forget to turn it off again on next LogIn).

I've done that as well (I'm trying it a second time as we speak), but every time I try and do a force full verify, the launcher crashes partway through the check.

Ok, here is something I found posted by a cryptic guy, maybe it helps, other option seems to be a clean reinstall...
"You can try enabling the Patch via Proxy option. It may help, though it might also make things slower so don't leave it on if it doesn't improve your speed."

Just close the game and start the launcher again.

Which I have to admit is the most awesome error I have ever seen!
After "Error 35" I got a little patch and everything is good to go!
