Serious ? about systems

I recently had a mission in Eirithos System.... problem was i have no idea where this system is

It didnt show up on my current map and the location was not listed in the mission brief...

I later through chat found the location....

Is there a way in game to find the location of places or assigned missions...?

I can see this as a problem for those who may not be knowledgeable of every sector and every map

many thanks

All missions should tell you the system and the sector that something is in. Sometimes the phrasing is a little odd, and it takes a bit of thinking it through but it's almost always there.

If you find a mission that does not adequately explain where to go/what to do then I would suggest reporting it as a bug. In the chat window type /bug.

well, you could just use the system list and use auto pilot.
if it is not in the sector block just move to the next one and try again

It would be great if it was possible to chose a different sectors and zoom in on that sector area map.
Infortunately the game does not let you do this.

Everything is also discovered when you enter a brand new sector you never been to, there's not much to explore.

I guess forcing you t ofly to a sector to view what systems are inside is the developer's definition of "exploring strange new worlds"

    Peace

yea but the mission should at least tell you what sector to go to, it shouldnt be "go the the planet'blah'" and you just have to wonder between sectors until you find the right one by accident, thats a huge waste of time
