I just bought a new laptop with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 512MB graphics card.... Does anyone know if this card is powerful enough to run this game? I also have an Intel Core i7-720QM Quad Core Mobile CPU, so that should be more than plenty...
I have a Dell Studio XPS 16 with the older 3670 GPU and I can run the game at full resolution (1920x1080) without issue. I do notice some pausing but I think that is related to the server issues that are pending these days.

Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English

Integrated High Definition Audio 2.2

Probably good enough, the video ram might be a little low, the processor is fine, im using an intel dual core 2.0 ghz and it runs without any problems. I also have a ATI MOBILITY RADEON 4670 512mb and it is over what is needed for STO.
Also, i don't know if it is the case for anyone in here, but it seems as tho most of you have laptop graphics cards and, atleast in my case, the latest driver for my graphics card wasn't very up to date (since it is a laptop graphics card) and so i found this nifty website that can take a graphic driver designed for a desktop and change it for a laptop one (provided its for the same card)
I am using the exact same graphics card. Toshiba Satellite by chance? At any rate, the game will run. The problem is that I keep getting a pop up message saying my drivers are out of date. I cannot seem to find any released updated drivers. So I can honestly say the game runs fine just don't expect very detailed graphics. I have already checked with ATI and the send me to Toshiba because the laptop manufacturer is responisble for all drivers believe it or not.

yeah if you read my post above i explainw hat to do, you have to download the driver for your graphics card (the desktop version) then let it extract, but dont install it, then using the modding tool from the website above you mod the extracted desktop driver and you then install it as a laptop driver.
Its a little technical, i'm sorry i dont have the link to where i found out how to do it, it was in some sort of forum that i searched through for hours.
That card is definitely good enough for STO. Better than most PCs' cards. I have not used STO on my desktop computer since I got one on my laptop. You can always have half resolution off and often have reflections and high quality lighting on.

Your card should work great, enjoy the game.

AMD Athlon II X2 2.1 GHz
3GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250
how would this run?
You could always put it in the airlock and buy a more STO compatible Graphics card.
it's a laptop
I play on my old Alienware laptop that has dual GeForce Go 9700 GS cards at 256MB each, and the game looks and plays great!
Enjoy the game!
