Anybody Downloaded from Atari in the UK and playing yet?

Hey there,

I know I'm new and asking an insignifigant question amongst the thousands of you that have been playing for some time now....

But I just downloaded the game through the Atari website, and was wondering if anyone has received their activation key? I assume it comes in a seperate Email?

I've installed the game, and registered to play now... But I figure I can't? Its all so confusing with Retail keys, activation keys and release dates, what have you etc....

As mentioned I'm in the UK!

Any help??

Pete.

    Hello chap, welshie here.

Anyhoo, you should have recieved an email with your account key, if you have, click the box on the right of the home page to shove it on to your account.

If not, I would suggest ringing Atari and ask them for advice.

You are not alone. They sent me my betakey but no retail key yet. The game is released today though so it might take a few days more to get it I guess. If I dont get it on monday I will get mad.

This is why I bought via Steam. I wasn't too worried about getting a box and I wanted to play the head start.

If Atari, the actual games publisher doesn't get the codes out on the UK launch.. well I'm not one to moan but it doesn't make the company look good D:

Yeah. Their website sucks also. I should probably send a ticket right now and ask what the heck they are doing over there.
All I could find on their website was an email adress. Lets hope they send me the key ;)
I didnt pay 60 euro to play a beta.

Do they have a phone number? I would seriously suggest thowing a ticket in and calling them. Ticket in case you can't get through, phone call because if you catch them at a quiet period where they're eating cake, they might be able to sort you out there and then.

At least, my friend at Atari said he liked cake, I really shouldn't judge them all because of him, he is quite rotund you see. </ramble>

Edit: OK, thats my phone call idea out of the window. Cake while we wait anyone?

Long shot but you could try checking your mailbox spam for this email address - serviceclient@metaboli.fr (this is the one I received my key from) the subject line was "Your Download of Star Trek Online Digital Deluxe"

    hope this helps

Edit: the email even says to use that email address giving your order number which was called the purchase number on the confirmation email.

P.S. the cake is a lie

I've just fired off an Email to Atari customer support....

I notice that when I log into my account on their website and click on "Resend Confirmation Email"... That nothing is happening or coming through to my inbox, or spam???

This is annoying, it took all night to download the game, and now its all installed and ready to go... I'm stuck!

Okay well I finally got a response (24 times) and my activation key! They emailed it to me 24 times!!!!!

The annoying thing is... Now I'm at work, and I'm going out with mates straight from wor, so won't be able to actually play for a good long time now!!!

    Still at least I can!

    Pete.
