actually I was hoping to get the 'ability' to buy them at vendors with multiple ranks, not just mk I

anyway thanks for the sarcasm, the defensive turret or whatsoever seems to be superb compared to it

Yeah a bit of a disappointment.

I guess I'm the only one who saw problems with buying pre-orders for specific items/ships. How did you think they could give you a new gun at the start of the game that would last you throughout 50 levels? How did you expect to have a ship that did the same? How about certain items?

If anyone would've logically thought about this beforehand, maybe they wouldn't be so disappointed in what they got. I personally got the Borg bridge officer, because I knew it would be something I'd have all game.

meh, 19dps gets you about 1/3 of the way through tl cmdr, not really a huge bonus

    Actually its not all bad.
i'm Cmdr 7 and still use it.
Its a unique weapon that deals kinetic damage, and a decent amount against unshielded targets, against shielded the damage bleeds through at a constant though the hits are low, still useful though against those enemies with insane shield regen.
Its other redeeming and canon quality is that its sniper shot can fire through walls, hence you can run out, target a enemy, dodge behind cover and fire.

I am Lt Cmdr 5 and I still use my Target rifle. It's special attack almost seems to ignore shields and does damage to the enemies body.

Just to eliminate some confusion, is the TR-116 supposed to have 19 or 190 DPS?

Exactly, you cant complain about the DPS of this gun when you can ignore the rules of LoS with it. Go take it into ground pvp and see how much staying out of site while doing damage owns face.

All pre-order items are designed to become obsolete within the first few lvls. They stated very early on that any pre-order bonuses wouldn't give any player an advantage at end game....more or less.

*snipes GlobalTaxi from the other room*
    Nope... No advantage. :D

And if they nerf TR-116 then by *censor* they need to nerf every other pre-order as well.
Bye bye connie you will be useless. Bye bye Borg BO you will do nothing!
