Name: Bram Ch'wiem Vak / OpenSorce
Race: Klingon/Vulcan/Human/Romulan hybrid
Homeworld: Unknown
Occupation: Leader of Sidus Noctis (AKA The Nocti)
Vak is a mixed race warrior rumored to be of famous lineage or possible genetic engineering. Based on Federation DNA records Vak is mixed between Klingon (3/8), Vulcan (1/4), Human (1/4) and Romulan (1/8) and shares DNA with Klingon Governor Worf, Vulcan Ambassador Spock and Starfleet Captain Saavik. He has reportedly stated that he is the son of K'mtar (Alexander, Son of Worf) and T'Vak (alleged daughter of Spock and Saavik). Since K'mtar is from an alternate timeline it may be possible that Vak is as well.
He was simultaneously an Agent of the UFPSS (United Federation of Planets Secret Service) and Special Agent of the Klingon High Command for more than 50 years. Vak served as Captain then Admiral aboard several secret cloak capable vessels used to to eliminate the Borg and possibly other mutual threats. The last of which was the U.S.S./IKS Zephyr, the only ship known to ever bear Federation and Klingon designation.
At some point Vak "became one" with the inter-reality traveller and Leader of Sidus Noctis known as OpenSorce.
When the war errupted Vak resigned his commision in the Federation SS and returned to his Klingon heritage to bring glory to the Nocti and the Klingon Empire.
It is almost 100 years since the U.S.S. Foundation ventured close to the Wantab singularity. During a high warp speed fly by a ship was discovered suspended just beyond the event horizon, more intriguing was the detection of a life form on board. Making a Bold decision Capt. Rondini brought the ship out of warp just long enough to beam aboard the survivor, if indeed that is what it was...
Once the transport was complete the alien vessel slipped from its steady position, falling slowly towards its inevitable destruction. On board the Foundation a strange creature was looking bewildered, what you see before you is that creature.
From an un-know race, only a few have ever been able to understand the creatures telepathic way of communicating. This was not a barrier for it to join Star fleet and quality 9th in his class. Now he is in command of a science vessel with a very keen interest in sub-space and point singularities, although the Federation and Start fleet will deny any knowledge of this work.

I'm amazed at the Bios that others are coming up with. I feel like I've cheated now with the use of a well known character.
I made like a three page essay on her life and history but it doesn't fit into the game by a long shot. I had to change it as well because I didn't want her to look like a 60 year old in game, so still have to shave some years off her. Currently I have her Service Record and her Previous Trill Hosts listed, until I get time (which shouldn't be that hard with maintanence times as they are) and inspiration to rework her bio and THEN shorten it to fit the 2000 character cap (yes I counted).
The service record in STO is different than the one I saved on my computer, so I'll get back to you as soon as I can log in, which should be in about 11 minutes.
Edit: Service record as it reads now in my character Bio:
Service Record:
2393 - Trill Initiate Program
2397 - Starfleet Academy
2401 - Medical Residency
2402 - Chief Medical Officer, USS Gemini
2409 - Commanding Officer, USS Seraphim
Previous Hosts of the Yvex Symbiont (with gender and primary occupations):
2079 - 2121 Sarma Yvex (Male - Caretaker of un-joined Symbionts)
2121 - 2176 Seline Yvex (Female - Private Merchant and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2176 - 2241 Danres Yvex (Male - Professor in Sciences and Biology, Trill homeworld and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2241 - 2274 Teranian Yvex (Male - Doctor on Trill home world)
2274 - 2332 Jayden Yvex (Male - Science Officer in Trill institute of sciences and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2332 - 2362 Farah Yvex (Female - Counsellor on Trill before becoming a Member of the Symbiont Commission)
2362 - 2381 Dirin Yvex (Male - Chief Medical Officer Starbase 31 and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2395 - Present Nealas Yvex (Female - Commanding Officer USS Seraphim)
I'm still working on mine But basicly my captian thinks shes a Catian/Klingon hybrid (cause thats what her folks are A Catian and a Klingon) but is actually adopted so her real race is unknown. And she uses a ToS connie cause her family has been restoring it for years and she asked to use it instead of make Nova mass produce another miranda.
Finally got around to revising my Bio to both fit the timeline and the insanely short 2000 characters allowed in the Biography bit. Will probably make a thread about her entire history once I get around to revising that but so far it reads thusly (remember it's the short SHORT version and I am in no way proud of what I had to cut to get to this backgroundstory).
Being born in 2375 on the Trill homeworld Nealas is 34 years old. She was imbued with the honour of bearing the Yvex symbiont after a Romulan attack on Starbase 31 where Dirin Yvex, the previous host, was killing in action. Dirin was Nealas her field instructor and with his last breath exclaimed the desire for her to be the next host. After joining Nealas returned to the Trill homeworld to recover from the ad hoc joining back on Starbase 31. Once back home she tried to figure out what to do with her new gained knowledge and how she could best honour Dirin’s memory. Because of the way she was granted the symbiont she elected to keep her family name as a middle name.
She joined Starfleet academy in 2397 to serve the Federation and with the knowledge the Yvex symbiont had granted her she took a cakewalk through the medical courses straight to her medical residency at Starfleet Medical in San Fransisco. After this residency she was appointed the Chief Medical Officer on the USS Gemini, a Galaxy class at the rank of Lieutenant (junior grade). She realised that saving people one at a time was just to slow a pace for her and she took bridge courses to get ready for a Command of her own. In 2407 she transferred to the USS Pegasus, a newly reinstated Centaur class light cruiser with a position of Second officer next to her role as CMO. She honed her command skills during graveyardshift.
In 2409 the Borg invaded the Alpha quadrant again, the Pegasus was caught in the fighting and was able to fight free of the initial wave but was unable to keep going, Nealas transported to the USS Khitomer to help out there. In the aftermath of the battle she was field-promoted to command of the USS Seraphim, not long after she was granted official command of the USS de Ruyter.
Service Record:
2397 – Starfleet Academy
2400 – Medical Residency
2401 – Chief Medical Officer, USS Gemini
2407 – Chief Medical Officer/Second Officer, USS Pegasus
2409 – Commanding Officer, USS de Ruyter
I was just wondering if anyone is putting anything in their Bios in the game. Here is mine (it's long):
1968:
Friday, September 6th: Martin Seamus Marty McFly is born in Hill Valley, California, he is the youngest of three children of George and Lorraine McFly. Dave being the eldest brother and Linda, his sister, is the middle child. Little is known about Martys early life.
1985 Age: 17
Marty gives slight impression that he was somewhat embarrassed by his family and therefore didnt spend much time at home, preferring to hang out with his best friend Dr. Emmett Lathrop Doc Brown, Jennifer or the guys in his musical band, The Pinheads.
Saturday, October 26th: Marty accidentally time travels to 1955 and almost jeopardized his very existence. Only with the help of his friend Doc and the knowledge of the future was he able to rectify this and in the process make his entire familys lives all the better upon his return to 1985.
Marty and Doc ended up time travelling on a few more occasions and it was thought that all the travelling would end with the destruction of the DeLorean, but the Doc was resourceful enough to make a time travelling machine out of a locomotive and eventually built another time machine out of another DeLorean, with this one having a spatial coordinate system along with the time circuits.
1991 Age: 23
While attending Hill Valley College with his girlfriend Jennifer Jane Parker, he proposed to marry her, which she gladly accepts. The date was set for Saturday, June 27, 1992.
1992 Age: 24
Saturday, June 27th: Marty and Jennifer get married at The Chapel of Love. Doc is the best man.
Sunday, June 28th: Marty and Jennifer have an argument during the honeymoon about the marriage taking place in The Chapel of Love. Jennifer kicks Marty out of the hotel room for the night, telling him to think about our future.
In the very early hours of that morning, Marty seeks out Doc to assist him on making it up to Jennifer by getting a galactic gift from the past. Doc, still half asleep, agrees on this foolish adventure.
Marty sets the DeLoreans time/spatial coordinates to Ancient Greece. The duo decides to not to use the hover mode and use a remote highway in the Mojave Desert to achieve the 99 mph needed to time travel.
4:57 AM: Exactly at the same time that the DeLorean achieves 88 mph, the Landers Earthquake rumbles across the desert. This 7.3 earthquake is a right-lateral strike-slip event that ends up causing the time travelling DeLorean to split into two separate entities, unbeknownst to them. One DeLorean travels as expected to the correct time and space (so we are going to ignore that one), while the other travels to
2404 Age: 24
Stardate 81985.2: The DeLorean arrives on a Borg infested planet in the Delta Quadrant. The Borg takes immediate interest in this unorthodox method of time travel and assimilated Marty and Doc within moments of their arrival. Marty was re-designated as 19 of 85, Fourth Adjunct of Trimatrix 47. Docs re-designation is unknown.
2406 Age: 26
Stardate 83208.4: The Borg became aware of an unusual residue of Borg components located in Grid 562 within the Beta Quadrant and sends Scoutship 255 to investigate. Crew compliment: 19 of 85, Fourth Adjunct of Trimatrix 47 and 6 of 14, Fifth Adjunct of Trimatrix 63.
Stardate 83213.1: Scoutship 255 arrives at Grid 562. Sensors indicate remnants of Scoutship 174 in Sector 1428 on the planet. Scoutship 174 was lost in 2378 after the death of the Borg Queen during that time. Further investigation required.
Stardate 83213.2: 6 of 14 couples with an intact alcove of Scoutship 174 and downloads the data. Pathogen detected. Analyze. Pathogen confirmed. Neurolytic pathogen assimilated from Admiral Kathryn Janeway of the U.S.S. Voyager, NCC-74656. Protocol: Disengage from Hive. Data transmission ends.
With the link severed, 19 of 85 slowly began to become self-aware. To help speed up his memories he kept reminding himself, Marty, youre name is Marty. As the days went by, he gained more of his former memories. With no signs of intelligent life on this planet, Marty used the subspace transmitter aboard Scoutship 255, he sent a general distress call on all frequencies. In the meantime, while surviving off of the local fauna and wildlife, he would remind himself of who he is and where he came from, knowing that he could never return to see his wife again, but vowed to find Doc and liberate him from the Borg as well.
Stardate 83229.7: The U.S.S. Hestia responds in short order and rescues Marty. This vessel, aptly named after the Greek virgin goddess, did indeed house him like a new born child to be received into the Starfleet family. Upon this vessel he befriended Chat, a quirky individual that reminded him of Doc.
2409 Age: 29
Academy Year #3 Tactical Division:
Marty was an Ensign aboard the U.S.S. Monterey when the Borg invaded again. With Martys heroic actions saving the crew of the U.S.S Khitomer, Admiral Quinn promoted him to Lieutenant and gave him command of the Monterey since the bridge officers had been killed in combat with the Borg.
Vessel: U.S.S. Monterey, NCC-91008
Class: Miranda Frigate
Rank: Lieutenant
This command took Marty into the heart of the Federation to ward off Gorn and Klingon attacks. Also went deep into Klingon Space where he won many glorious battles against the Klingon Empire.
Vessel: U.S.S. Eros, NCC-95046
Class: Saber Escort
Rank: Lieutenant Commander
With this command he continued missions along the Klingon Border and began survey missions towards The Romulan Neutral Zone. It should be noted of the following exceptional missions:
Briefly took part in a temporal incursion into 2270 with the original U.S.S. Enterprise due to the Guardian of Time.
The destruction of another Doomsday device.
Vessel: U.S.S. Hill Valley, NX-91985 (Current)
Class: Akira/Oslo Heavy Escort Hybrid
Rank: Commander
Admiral Quinn, impressed with Marty McFlys record, granted Marty the honor of christening a new Heavy Escort Hybrid vessel and also the ability to name it. This impressive Heavy Escort is a standard Akira Class vessel with Oslo nacelles. Performance tests are still ongoing and the Admiralty is confident that Marty will be able to test it fully while continuing his objectives.
I wonder if this will all fit into the game? Can't check right now cause it's down
This is the worst thing I have ever read. Borg Marty McFly? Really? This Michael J Fox-Star Trek mishmash is horrible.
After my family was wiped out by Orcs and Goblins, I joined Star Fleet, so that I may one day get my revenge by crashing my star ship into their village.
"Half Klingon/Half Q, grandson of Kirk married unknown daughter of Picard and Vash, giving birth to character. Latent Q who has not yet discovered his true nature."

The goggles! They do nothing!!!
Well played, sir. Well played
Mine has a cloud of suspicion over her head as one of the hundred-odd suvivors of a colony decimated by "biological attack." There is some circumstantial evidence to suggest her parents were tinkering with home-brewed augment technology and may have killed nearly 20,000 people with an experiment gone wrong or lab accident.
Slightly elevated emotional reactions index consistent with some augmentation, but may just be a placebo effect due to the suspicions of peers while growing up. Didn't have an exactly great time as a Star Fleet cadet, but pushing hard to show her worth.
Considered something of war-hawk in officer and crew circles, as a tour aboard her ships invariably leads to injury due to extremely aggressive combat strategies. Decorated for exemplary service (some say "exemplary violence") at the Starbase 24 incident.

USS Family Ties
I laughed.
Edit - What's even funnier is that one of my bridge officers is modeled to look exactly like Michael J Fox circa 1985. I think I got it perfect. His bio simply reads, "Mallory?!?"
I do so wish STO had CO's ability to access your bio offline (from work) and edit it there (the same way we do with mail)
For my double-lifetime Liberated Borg in the TOS MU outfit, I was pulling what little hair I had out trying to justify the odd blend. I'm no Trekkie, and not as up on the lore and canon as I am with some other franchises, but Memory Alpha helped quite a bit, and Enterprise actually came through on a means to pull it off.
Closer Than They Appear
I am not Jnoh Dlengir. This identity is merely the one I assimilated long ago.
Being without name is of no consequence so long as one has purpose. Even being connected as a simple Drone in the Collective is purpose enough. But Tholian Tri-cobalt warheads and dying gravity wells stripped me of purpose, of connection. Presumably, these Tholians underestimated their quarry. Drones do not die as readily as Starfleet crews, even when they are disconnected from the Collective.
I was eventually found, adrift, alone so alone, my mind empty of the comforting voices of the collective left to ponder who and what I was. It is not surprising that a confused and frightened Drone cornered in a drifting Tholian derelict will lash out when threatened. In doing so, I tore from a Terran man what he had a rank, a purpose, a life, and a name and made it my own: Ensign Jnoh Dlengir. The Empire was waning, but still glorious in its purpose and closer to my former home than would first appear. In the end, the Commander in Chief may have chosen to lower our guard, but I still fought, clawed, killed, until I became Captain Jnoh Dlengir.
I watched my new collective, my Empire, become tainted in Federation Utopian ideals, expose itself, and pay the ultimate price. My plan became a simple one with this life ending, I would return to my old one, sacrifice my name, my purpose, my rank, to return to my old place and purpose. The crew believed we were seeking to cross over and bring back salvation through the mirror, as an Empress once had with her Defiant. I nurtured this in them, pushed them, and rallied them to this end. All the while I counted them already among the dead; unlikely they would survive without the Collectives enhancements I had to save me. We pressed past the threshold of the rift, into the madness between, and eventually, dead or dying, drifted into the universe I first knew as home.
No voices welcomed my return. No connection was made. Perhaps it was the difference in years this rift had taken me a century beyond my own time. I was eventually found, adrift, alone, pondering what I would become. But this time, welcomed, not threatened, by a young Ensign from a kinder, gentler Federation. I brought with me what I was a name, a purpose, and a life and worked to make it my own here as well, all records of what I once was long lost.
This was no Empire, but still I found it waning. Things here were closer to my last life than they might first appear. A Federation, threatened and ill prepared. But unlike my previous home, this one was not caught exposed, instead hastily arming itself to fight! This was my new Collective, my new Empire, my Federation, my home, and I will fight, claw, and if necessary, kill, to keep it from falling like my last one.

Wow nice, makes my own bio pale by comparison (i poilet a connie and wear Tos unis as well)
Nah'Lah was raised by her parents on Cait, her father a Klingon, her mother a Catian, or so she thought. The truth is that she is a experiment by the Klingon Empire, a living weapon, who was liberated and adopted by the couple. For this reason she was raised with a mix of Klingon and Federation ideas but never saw her "homeworld" of Klingon.
As a babe her parents bought a old decommissioned Constitution class ship, little more then a hull and engines they spent over a decade restoring it before the war took her father Back to the Empire and her mother to Memory Alpha as a scientist. She was already a cadet in Starfleet and as the war spilled over she was pushed into position as commander, to take some pleasure of the Nova Construction yards she lent the family project to starfleet who refit it for combat duity.
Here is the bio for my Tactical captain:
Joining Starfleet at the earliest possible age, over his Vulcan mother objections, Syvok is determined to prove that Vulcans can make excellent Captains in this time of war. What he did not tell Starfleet is that his father was a Romulan defector who took refuge on Vulcan when the Reman uprising threw the Empire into turmoil. Syvok has worked his entire life to control the warrior like tendencies of his Romulan hale and has been sucessful.
What his mother believes, is that it is only logical that the warrior blood of his father will win out in the crucible of battle. Some would say that she is fearful of the repercussions that would happen to him if his true heritage is found out, but Syvok would be quick to point out, almost too quickly some would say, that fear is an illogical emotion.
I ran out of character space so the actual bio starts at "Ive survived this long"
Personal log Stardate: (today lol I dunno how to calculate it)
Ive survived this long.
"Jem'hadar".
Our ship was sent on a deep recon mission into Federation space near what I later found out to be the end of the war. After some time, we lost communications with the Founders.
We kept to the mission. With a lack of further orders, we chose to stay with the last ones we were given. Once our suppy of Ketracel White began to dwindle, Our Vor'ta, who had started acting increasingly nervous, met with an unfortionate accident where he enteres the airlock amd it malfunctioned, cycling him into space.
It wasnt long before more such accidents started befalling Jem'hadar. Mysterious accidents that increased the amount of Ketrecel White for the rest of those alive. It wasnt long before there were two f us. I bested my brother in one-on-one combat, securing enough of the remaining Ketrecel White to make my way back to Dominion space.
Heading in that direction, I tapped into a Federation news feed only to find out that the war had ended and the wormhole to Dominion space had been closed. To make matters worse, my ship swas attacked by Orion raiders of some kind. I was able to fend them off but not without significant damage to my ship.
With the Founders long gone and a lack of ketracel-white, I was wearing down fast. On my last legs, a Federation Science vessel found me, adrift. I dont remember any of that however, as I had apparently been in a coma at the time. The Federation scientists aboard the ship stabilized me. They haven't been able to subdue my need for ketracel-white completely, but they've engineered a substitute that will do the trick for now. I was informed of the events of the end of the war, and after some time I accepted it. It conformed to the time when we lost communication with the Founders.
It's was my choice. Die alone, millions of light years away, abandoned by The Dominion, or try to conform to this new, Federation life.
Ive survived this long.

WOW. That is great work! NICE!
I'm amazed at the Bios that others are coming up with. I feel like I've cheated now with the use of a well known character.
Also this
The service record in STO is different than the one I saved on my computer, so I'll get back to you as soon as I can log in, which should be in about 11 minutes.
Edit: Service record as it reads now in my character Bio:
Service Record:
2393 - Trill Initiate Program
2397 - Starfleet Academy
2401 - Medical Residency
2402 - Chief Medical Officer, USS Gemini
2409 - Commanding Officer, USS Seraphim
Previous Hosts of the Yvex Symbiont (with gender and primary occupations):
2079 - 2121 Sarma Yvex (Male - Caretaker of un-joined Symbionts)
2121 - 2176 Seline Yvex (Female - Private Merchant and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2176 - 2241 Danres Yvex (Male - Professor in Sciences and Biology, Trill homeworld and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2241 - 2274 Teranian Yvex (Male - Doctor on Trill home world)
2274 - 2332 Jayden Yvex (Male - Science Officer in Trill institute of sciences and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2332 - 2362 Farah Yvex (Female - Counsellor on Trill before becoming a Member of the Symbiont Commission)
2362 - 2381 Dirin Yvex (Male - Chief Medical Officer Starbase 31 and Field Instructor to prospective Hosts)
2395 - Present Nealas Yvex (Female - Commanding Officer USS Seraphim)
This is the worst thing I have ever read. Borg Marty McFly? Really? This Michael J Fox-Star Trek mishmash is horrible.
sincerely,

now all he can say is...
Undine!!!!
Itd be better if you did a marty mcfly in a starfleet uniform as an avatar tho lol
Not a fan of 3D chess.
"Great-great-great-...........grandson of the famous US Marine/actor he was almost named after"
worst. bio. ever.
I laughed.
Edit - What's even funnier is that one of my bridge officers is modeled to look exactly like Michael J Fox circa 1985. I think I got it perfect. His bio simply reads, "Mallory?!?"

This was my new Collective, my new Empire, my Federation, my home, and I will fight, claw, and if necessary, kill, to keep it from falling like my last one.
so does that mean the Delorean is Cannon?
