In chat i can create an alias to a command using the /alias command. However on restart of the client all aliases are lost. How can I save them?

Make a "Star Trek Online\Live\localdata\CommandAliases.txt" file that looks like this:
Alias myname "some command text here"
    Alias anotheralias "+another command"

Cool, I was hoping we would have this function.
The question I have is: can you string more then one command to an alias?

So, what's an alias? Is the just another variant on binds & macros, where you create your own shorthand command line command, or is it something different? What's the format for using an alias once you've created it?

Aliases work just as coderanger has stated.

    IE:

    alias tbob "/tell bob@HasAReallyLongNameSoIMadeAnAlias"

Then in the chat window you can just type:

    /tbob how are you today?

    Apposed to:

    /tell bob@HasAReallyLongNameSoIMadeAnAlias

Now this is just from reading whats above, I have not been home to test this yet.
