Transfer Credits & Merits Between Characters?

I created a few different characters to try out the various races, professions and trait combinations. I have one character I want to keep, but I want to delete the others to make room for more to try out. Between my characters I have a decent amount of Energy Credits and Starfleet Merit. Is there any way to transfer them to my other character? And maybe items I acquire?

I was surprised I couldn't find existing threads when I searched for this.

Never tried, but I think you can send items to yourself in the mailsystem.

I opened Mail and can send text notes to <character@handle>, but I don't know how to attach items, credits, merit, etc.

I suppose the loophole way to do this is to have one character put up a cheap item for a riduculus price on the Exchange, then have the other characters purchase it... Otherwise, sending items attachements through the 'mail' is the most practicle means...

Sending 'attachments' can only be done through the 'mail' consoles located in Starfleet Exchange section...

Energy is tradeable, it`s a currency afterall, you can try to send it to your account or find someone who you trust and trade with him.

I don't think you can send energy in the mail. Just items, from what I remember.

Thanks for the tip about the Mail consoles in the exchange! I was just selecting Mail from the option in the corner of the screen. I'll trade energy credits to my brother.

If anyone comes up with a better way to do this, let me know! Thanks.

Well mail is account-wide, not character specific. Fed vs Kling doesn't matter. The @handle is what is used, even though the window says charachter@handle.

There is a difference... character@handle is specific to the 'character'... @handle can be claimed by any character that @handle has

    Sorry for the delayed response...

For example, send mail to Character1@MyFriendHandle and ask @MyFriendHandle to log into the game as Character2@MyFriendHandle and check his mail. He will see the message you sent to Charcter1@MyFriendHandle.

Mail is indeed account-wide, not specific to characters. You can also check your mail (without seeing attachments) from this forum! You log into the forum as your account, not a specific character on your account.
