Well considering the game is not officially released then why should your account be marked for lifetime? Why don't you enter your game code and see what happens? Oh yeah that's right, the game isn't released fully yet!
Paid at the STO site, was making my Borg character a half hour later. And that's only cos was waiting for a patch, the account showed as updated immediately.
You made sure you were logged in to your account first on the website?
If yes, contact billing. The forums probably can't help you much.
Go back to the main STO page, click on "My Account." If you see "Star Trek Online Lifetime Subscription" under "Activated Features" then you're good to go. Otherwise, submit a ticket to Cryptic Support.
They'll get to you as soon as they're done swimming across the room full of money to your ticket.

As mentioned in my OP... I already sent the emails yesterday.... forum posting is my last resort before claiming back my money
