Exploration Clusters and Anomaly Data

Perhaps it's me but it appears that the loot tables for the exploration cluster systems (not the over-map) isn't keeping pace with your captain's level. I have leveled up quite a bit and I still continue to get base radiation, mineral, and alien artifact data when I scan these anomalies. While this is a minor issue, it would be nice if the loot table kept pace with your captain's level as this would make the Memory Alpha pseudo-crafting much more manageable.

    Business,

I know this is kind of OT, but have you been able to progress past Romain on Memory Alpha. Currently, I prefer getting those red anomolies over the green and blue ones because I am still trying to get past Romain by grinding Medium Stim Packs.

Are you still doing the Delta Volonis & Arucanis clusters? They are the 1st Order badge areas for exploration.

The Hiromi & Khazan clusters are the 2nd Order badge exploration zones.

I've gathered quite a bit of these anomalies, radiation, biological and alien artifacts but I can't figure out how to use them. do I turn them in somewhere for study or what? and if I do where, HELP.

@AussieJohn -Yes, I am past Delta Volanis. Currently, I am on the Eridan Belt Cluster - Tier 3 exploration badges.

@whistlinjoe-No. I have not managed to advance past Romaine either. I'm curious to see if anyone has.

@PapWejo-You can take your anomalous data to Commander Romaine at Memory Alpha. Choose store and she will show you what components you need in order to craft uncommon items. Most of it is MK2 stuff. For me, by the time I had enough data to create the items I was well past MK2 or already had items as good if not better.

I am beginning to think that I should hang onto my data as I have already wasted quite a bit of biological samples.

If this aspect of the game is working they may need to take a good look at the number of units needed to craft the gear and how much data you have to get before you can get past Romaine. My suggestion is crafting 1 maybe 2 of the uncommon items or 10/20 hypo's/batteries.

I am pretty sure she is still bugged sadly. I have bought 72 items from her (various ones) and still cannot move on.

That's the conclusion I am coming to. Oh well that's fine. I'll save all this data for my next char, hopefully they will have this fixed before I start him.

you have to finish Sulu and Quins low lvl missions, then you start getting the higher lvl mission that give as much as 500 exp.

My friend... I don't think you read my post correctly, or maybe I am not making myself clear. My issue isn't with getting higher level explore missions. It's with the anamolous data that you "harvest/scan" in these missions.

Allow me to illustrate. The base anomalous energy reading data (i think that's what it's called I'll update after I get back to the game) you receive from a Tier 1 Exploration badge mission is radiation sample. Once you get to Tier 3 you have a chance of receiving radiation sample, antimatter , tetryon particle, and tachyon wave signature. I have harvested these data from patrol and storyline missions, however when I perform an explore unknown region mission the data I receive is always the base three.

FYI for all who want to know I am on Tier 4 exploration badges... so I think I can safely say that my original conclusion is correct. The loot tables in the "explore unknown cluster" missions are not keeping pace with your captain's level. I believe that is incorrect as you should have a chance to receive data that is pertinent to your officer's rank.

Yeah, I bugged this. While there appears to be some level-appropriateness with anamolies you scan while on the 'mini-sector' map of a particular belt/nebula/whatever, if you actually go into an 'unknown system' any anamolies will be the 'tier 1' stuff. I had 100 percent result of tier 1 'TRIBBLE' while I entered the tier 3 romulan exploration zones if I entered an unknown system, (I ran unknown systems approximately 10 times in a row) but had more or less appropriate drops (though generally only 1 data sample at a time)

I suppose bugging it is the best method as there's too much trolling and TRIBBLE in the suggestions forum for them to actually get to the game ideas and issues that will actually improve the system.
