Some new rules perhaps

First: If you're going to cancel your account, don't whine about it here. no one cares.

Second; a million posts every time the server goes down is not going to resolve the issue any faster.

Third: This is an early MMO, it has bugs, but the plus side is, it will also have patches.

Fourth: Be constructive; I'm paranoid about this game, but so far I have not seem anything so unexpected as to be a showstopper.

Fifth: I grew up playing the original Nintendo, I'm not so spoiled that I can't put up with a few problems ever so often... perhaps you should follow that example.

Now for cryptic:

First: You have done a decent job thus far; but the server downtime is a bit extreme; here's to hoping you fix it soon.

Second: !4.95 is a bit much, and it would be appreciated if you made some kind of deal for the ones who can't afford a lifetime right now.

Third: from playing thus far, I can't justify a lifetime sub anyway, so ^^^ see above.

Fourth: Progress updates on key issues would be nice.

Perhaps = suggestions for rules, not rules themselves, I should have included a requirement for basic resoning skills in there I suppose.

    .

they did, it's called the yearly subscription. Cheaper than lifetime, saves money over the monthly rates, and you don't lock yourself into a lifetime commitment. problem solved on all counts

Not really; I couldn't justify yearly at this point, I can't afford it for one.

They're really close to having me locked into lifetime once I get up the money, but if their offers for lifetime are limited to before I can, what then?

Then you subscribe or you do not.

    Pretty simple.

You have done gone and missed the point. This is about making money for cryptic, special offers at a later date would help us and help them...

Lifetime will be avialable for the foreseeable future. The price will just go up after Feb 1.
