Why no patch notes?

I've downloaded like 4 patches in the last week or so. No notes...

Why?

Most likely, they are just a bunch of small bug fixes for stability. They still might though.

Perhaps. I'd quite like to know though. They have a history of stealthily changing things in their previous games.

From someone who does development in C# and has the pleasurable job of doing release notes, i can tell you that sometimes i underestimate the need for my notes. I make a small change and think "Eh, it's TRIBBLE. No one cares about this one" but it turns out, it's actually important.

Seems more professional to list the changes, sure it's not our work but it affects us.. We should know. On top of that, curiosity and overall familiarizing yourself with the game. Sometimes patch notes can educate you about a game mechanic or other aspect that you were unfamiliar with.

    Because they hate you.

Speaking of professionalism I've noticed that the notes they have released aren't exactly polished. This could be a sign that they are being done as an afterthought. All of the notes I've seen have showed up well after the patch they are referring to.

Exactly. The reason that all things in the world are the way the are is because of one thing: spite.
