Version Mismatch

I can't log in because of this error. It did same thing yesterday and I did the force verify...it worked and I was able to paly.

Now it's doing the same thing again, but force verify isn't working I guess.

Is everyone able to play right now, says server is up. I'm wondering if anyone else is having same problem. Really dont want to unistall and reinstall because of Cryptic.

Also suffering from this issue here. If there is some kind of other "version" necessary to play, then shouldn't it be patched to the new version? That's what I'd think, at least. But hey, what do I know?

On load up and with force verify, says i'm running .13

But when game starts and gives me mismatch, it says i'm running .10 in bottom left corner.

I xfered over old version .7 ....even after force verify and running game, says i'm still running .7

Exactly the same for me. The launcher says I'm on version ST.0.20100123.13 but in the character screen I get a version mismatch and it says I am on version ST.0.20100123a.10.

I have tried Force Verify and it does not do anything. Am thinking I may aswell delete the game and go play Star Wars Galaxies..

They have an entirely free month for ALL previous characters. And lots of new, working, content.

Does anyone know how to get around this issue, I am not going to pay for something that I can't play. I bought the disk in-store and got a free t-shirt etc and activated codes etc all success then after subscribing, It won't play because of a mismatch???? I am version - ST.0.20100202a.5

I am using Windows 7 if that means anything?

A mismatch means you dont have the same verson of the game as the server.

Either go to options in your launcher and click force verify.
Delete the exe.hogg file and click force verify
Reinstall the game, either from the DVD or download it by deleting all the hogg files, and clicking force verify.

I will do that thanks for the help, could this have happened because it installed a old patch or does it just happen sometimes

If you are using WIndows Vista or Windows 7 and you are getting the Version Mismatch errordo the following.

Go to the Star Trek Online.exe file and right click.
Once you right click go tot he Compatibility tab
In the Compatibility tab select the option "Run as Administrator"
    Click Apply
    Click OK
Relaunch Star Trek Online Launcher and it should work.
If you get the problem again close Star Trek Online and re-open the Launcher.
Go to Options and click on Force Verify.
    Enter your password and login.
