I think there is a shockingly low number of uniforms and outfits to choose from (especially for the Klingon faction! My goodness!).
Here's just a few of the uniforms and outfits I'd like to see added as tailoring options:
*Bajoran militia uniform (wearable by Bajorans only)
*Section 31 uniform (Sloan was not alone...)
*TNG 'Captain's Jacket' The Captain's Jacket was worn by Picard for awhile. It would be a nice present to those who reach the rank of captain.
*Medical robe. Doctor Crusher favored a blue robe, probably for the pockets, but also possibly for the style. Let science officers don one as well!
*TNG television series uniform
*DS9 television series uniform (I know these were given to the collector's edition buyers. I'd like to see them for sale individually in the c-store, or tradable in game by players)
*Civilian clothing for off duty officers just chilling at Quark's (please look to Jake Sisko for outfit inspiration. He's the only Star Trek civilian that knew how to dress himself)
*Combadges! We can have insignia, but no real combadge. The TNG movie uniform allows one, but only with that outfit. Give us a variety of combadges to choose from.
*TNG future-style uniforms! Hey, we're living in the future time that was predicted in 'All Good Things.' Voyager's 'Endgame' also confirmed these future uniforms will still exist, so why not make them an option in game?
There's a way to get the DS9/Voyager outfits....choose the TNG outfit from the list (the grey one from First Contact and later DS9)
Change the colors around so that you have a grey collar, colored shoulders (blue, yellow, or red) and black lower piece. It makes a really passable DS9/Voyager outfit.

Any other outfits or uniforms you'd like to see?
Im assuming at some point all of those exclusive to preorder uniforms are going to be purchasable in some type of add in package from the store. They were just trying to get people to preorder by offering things that they would assume they would miss if they didnt. Once the introduction period is over, im betting some exec will want a new cash grab and well get a uniform pack for like 20 bucks.

I wouldn't bank on it. Every one of those pre-orders and CEs say that the included uniforms are exclusive to that purchase. That is a binding contract.

That does indeed suck for those of us who just wanted a uniform but not the other perks of the package.
I wish they'd make uniforms and tailorings sellable between characters then. I could trade a rare BO or just buy a TNG uniform from someone that way.

...Really? I think there are absolutely tons, I'm amazed there are so many. Considering that in most MMOs, for the first 20 levels everybody looks EXACTLY THE SAME because of the lack of variety in costumes available. They've done a fantastic job.

That too would violate the exclusivity, sadly. I wish uniforms were not part if the CE and pre-orders. I'm getting the physical CE and would have appreciated something tangible, like a ship model or something, in place of the uniforms. Hell, if that badge was all noise-making, blinky, and cool that way I would have been just as happy with out the included uniforms.
They do need to work on those KE options though. I have a hard time imagining they would allow "aliens" to ware their cultural uniform with out some Klingon ancestry.
I will always vote for more character customization options.
Klingons need a lot of work in general.
For Federation side, my biggest question right now is if the Wrath of Khan Admiral's Uniform is just the admiral's unform, or if it has the other uniform variations from that era too - for instance, the enlisted jumpsuits, engineering pressure suits, medical uniforms, skirt variant, and so on. If not, I'd really like to see those added.

You have to wonder why they half-assed it so bad here.

Agreed. I think that a lot of people would be thrilled to see these areas focused on. Uniforms being one of them.
