    Probably preemptive, they probably closed the channel to new /joins knowing that it'd face a similar fate as the forums with the server downtime. Go start a livejournal and QQ there.

    The ragequitters are not going to quit unfortunately. They will just move to some aspect of the game they don't like. I 've been adding them to my ignore list. That way 6 months from now when they are still here ragingquitting over some issue I can remind them that they were supposed to have quit 6 months ago.

    I would suggest that you review the Terms of Service that you agreed to. Then take a printed copy of those with you when you seek legal advice. It'll make it easier for the lawyer to take your money and tell you "to get over yourself" because you don't have any recourse other than writing to the customer service where you purchased the game and asking for a refund. :)

    You can't be serious. You are going to complain about something that you aren't being forced to do. You can still cancel your pre-order. I mean do you have anything else to do instead of whining because you can't play a game that hasn't released yet?
