This is totally unacceptable. The game people have had enough time and forewarning as to the amount of server space will be necessary. So far this headstart weekend I have been dc'd twice, server crashed for almost 12 hours, today I was asked to log off for an emergency maintenance. When I try to log back in I am told I am 1929 out of 2011 people in line. After spending my hard earned money to pre-order this game I am not able to play it. And official game start is still 2 days away. Will I be able to play at all?

Agreed. We have paid our money. we have spent extra to be able to PLAY early.
I was loged in and playing. i sedenly get laged out and lose conection. i rejoin and get 1340/1340 it drops to 799 after a few minutes and doesnt shift for an hour.Im still not in its at 260.
This is an unfair system Iv playd the game less than 12 hours since it went live, others can continue to play so long as they dont log out while those of us shut out can do nothing? if the server cant cope now how in the world will it be able to on the 2nd???
As a PAYING customer what compensation do players get for not recieving the servce purchased and loosing out on gaming time and experience?
I am sitting here at my computer watching my queue number not move. After an hour and a half at 315, I finally dropped to 312.
This is the head start program right? So that means that I pre-ordered the game (paying the same price I would have paid if I bought the game the day it came out). My 30 day trial that came with the purchased game doesn't start until the game actually goes live so in essence, I am playing as part of the head start program for free (getting a few extra days added on to my 30 day trial).
STO is a brand new MMO. My experience with MMO launches is that they all have their issues. It takes a month to a year from launch to get it all worked out so the problems were expected. No surprise there.
So, I don't get to play for 18 hours straight during these extra free days I have because they take the server down to fix it and implement a queue as a fix as Cryptic works things out so there is less time when my dollar starts paying for me to play.
On the other hand, I am sitting at my computer watching the queue number not move instead of doing laundry, fixing a healthy meal, going for a walk, cleaning my apartment, reading a book and half a dozen other things I need to do or could do in the real world while waiting for the queue to move.
So, who should I be disappointed in: Cryptic or Me? I don't have a problem with the queue or the down time or anything else because it is evident that Cryptic is steadily working on all the issues. However, the problem I have is that I can't seem to figure out why the hell am I sitting here thinking the queue will move faster if I watch it?

Mind your own business, cowboy. Why don't you go troll on a street corner?
