In 2 days their are some Captain's out there and well thats not 2 full days of play cuz of all the down time so lets say some have made captain in 24 hours of play time is it just me or is there some thing wrong with that? Why buy a lifetime when in a week you can be max level?
will always be a few that want to get to the end as quick as possible, who knows why.
most of them will be here in a week saying theres no content cause they warped by it so fast its all a blur to them!

Perhaps it was a DEV/somebody else from Cryptic? 'Cause it would be really astonishing if somebody made it to Captain in that short amount of time!

each to their own i guess
Exactly! They will hit max level only to realized that there is no Endgame at launch and whine, whine, whine. I do think that many people were prepared to play 24 hrs a day during prelaunch...
Hmm maybe the emergency downtime is really to FORCE these people to sleep!!!
So are you insinuating that these people are cheating?
No he´s thinking that levelling goes too fast
He´s kinda right.
I needed about 2 weeks to Lt. Commander in the beta... because it took me ages to adapt and find stuff on the maps... Now I reached the same rank within 1 day.
To me leveling is a necessary evil to learn the game, for me the game actually starts when i hit maximum level.
I do not see a problem with fast leveling, i have yet to encounter a game where leveling is more enjoyable than being max level improving your character, raiding and pvping.
Like some have already said there always will be the people who play 24 hours a day to speed level. Something like college buddies on a weekend playing 12h shifts. My advice is, dont pay attention to them you will reach the endgame some weeks after the top group and you can then enjoy the content with those who already have an idea of what to do.
Let me comfort you in telling i am not even Lt commander yet, so you are not alone.
They were not npc and no I'm not saying they cheated just saying some thing wrong with the xp we get.
Yeah. The game is too easy and there is NO XP.
I'm certain if my brother was in town, we could tag team this game and skip huge portions of the game in favor of the others and power level to admiral. I'd do one 12 hours shift, he'd do the other.
When we finally hit admiral we can high five each other and compare e peens.

Indeed. Can't have folks dying at their keyboards playing this. Bad PR.
In my experience in MMO's (EQ, EQ2, SWG, WOW), the ones who hit max level rapidly have multiple people playing thier account, and in most cases turn out to be 'Gold Farmers' You can tell them by thier gear...max level with TRIBBLE gear..they do nothing but mindless grinding of the one mob that has a miniscule chance of dropping the 'BIG ITEM' that makes the most gold so they can sell it to people later.
3 hours into head start there was a 3 lvl 11 all in the same fleet. A friend of mine reported them for possibly exploiting. havent seen any of them on since and hour after he reported it.
Don't get me wrong I don't care that some want to hit max level as fast as they can it's just damn max level in maybe 36 hours there should be no way but I played CB and OB I know how they are doing it just thought maybe Cryptic would put a end to it. Btw I enjoy the leveling exp so thats why I'm still just a Lt.:)

You know, I haven't done any PvP at prelaunch. But in Beta, I did get my Klingon from 6 to 11 in 4 hours of pretty much just PvP.

Beta helps those people figure out what they need to do to get xthe fastest xp.
LOL true but think of it there was no Klingon in the first 24 hours of headstart.

Each to thier own and who really cares anyway.
I wonder what should keep us paying montly fees after that 2 weeks then
