Was Lt Commander Grade 5 before downtime happened again

I have to agree with everyone here except for the lucky chap who made Lt. Cmr Grade 2 with all the up/down/up/down time we've had.

I took Friday and Monday off of work to enjoy myself during a four-day weekend in Federation space, and with the unexpected issues and the random pop-in's we've had at the crib, I am in the same bucket you are: not near enough as far along as I'd like to be.

Damn, and now I have emptied another beer waiting on the servers to come up. I'm liable to be absolutely tanked by the time they go online. *hic*

you guys did not pay for your head start you could cancel your order

I have paid. defintely. My card was charged immediately upon preorder through D2D, which i purchased only on the promotional promise of being able to participate in headstart. So therefore I have paid and wouldnt be in headstart if I had not paid so therefore I am a paying customer as if i had not paid i would not be participating in headstart but I am participating. This is the conclusion I have deduced due to my credit card bill I am currently in possession of.
And only did i arrive at that conclusion after evaluating my hypothesis mentioned above.

Well, at least now the launcher states that the server is down....instead of stating that it is up when it wasn't..I wonder if this is going to be another 3 hour wait before that finally get it back up?

There was a dog walking down the street and he saw a notice & it read

    All applicants apply in person
Skills required: bilingual, Type 60 words per minute and run computer applications.

So the dog goes to the company and the Manager says "I can't hire you your a dog." "Can you type?" So the dog goes walks to the typewriter and types exactly 60 w.p.m. The Manager insist "I can't hire you your a dog." "Can you operate the computer?" Again the dog walks over. He gets on the computer and runs five different programs and then logs off. The Manager still insist "I can't hire you your still a dog." "Are you bilingual?" So the dog looks at the Manager and says "Meow."

No, but analyzing the data dump might. Gotta have some idea why it went down first.

Will we be compensated in any manner for the loss of so much headstart time? Cryptic points or something?

No, but it takes at least 3 hours to clean up the alcohol that was spilled into the warp core that controls the nexus of STO.

    You knew that, right?

You know the only problem I have with this is that there has been no word from cryptic. I understand that these things happen but come on almost 3 hours and nothing.
