Not enough downtime!!!!

This is ridiculous.

Headstart started 28 hours ago, and we've only had 4 hours of downtime since them. What the heck? Seriously, for a game that hasn't even officially LAUNCHED yet, how can we be expected to keep up when the servers are always online? Thank God they're down right now or I might've seriously injured my colon.

I'm not happy, I didn't spend 250 spacebucks on a lifetime membership to a video game only to have to miss out on 4 hours of playtime within the first -56 hours of launch.

If the game continues to be so unabashadly awesome and improve at the rate it has since closed beta, you can say goodbye to players like me.

Gene Roddenberry invented the Star Trek Universe to show what mankind can achieve when it puts it's minds together, but HUMANS ERR, they are not perfect, and with a server that has been up 85% of the time since the game's headstart (not even an official retail launch) this is well above human standards, and completely unacceptable.

Yes, we need more downtime for this to compete with other AAA prelaunches.

Come on, Cryptic! Don't let us down! More downtime!!!

Even EVE Online has an hour of downtime a day, just long enough to get changed, have a shower, empty your sock and get a bit of sleep. What the hell am I supposed to do come release when the server is up 99% of the day!?

Not impressed, Cryptic. GIVE US OUR DOWNTIME!

I completely agree, this little downtime when - nay, before - starting an MMO, is completely unacceptable!

I didn't buy a lifetime's worth of access only to play it so much within the first few days! This is terrible form.

Yes, I couldn't fail to disagree with you less! When I saw that the server was up for longer than an hour, I was physically sick with barely contained rage. This sort of thing should not be going on in decent society!

    Yours Sincerely

You know what, you are right and I apologize. This is a very serious matter. This issue is completely bogus, I can't believe there is so much up time. I need more downtime to eat, some meals just take too long to make.

You could always spin-toss them out the window, hoping they'll hit your obnoxious and noisy neighbor-- it's what I do... But that gets expensive.

I'm glad that the servers are down. If they hadn't gone down I wouldn't have noticed that I left my oven on and nearly burnt down my house.

    Thanks cryptic!

DO YOU SEE, Cryptic?? It is your blatant disregard for downtime that has led this poor soul to play constantly, melting his mind, he can barely spell anymore!! HAVE MERCY ON US!! I BEG of you, Cryptic!

This short downtime (albeit unplanned) should have happened much sooner. Shame on you. Well, shower time. Eek, I smell like dead cow.

How can I continue to not play this game if it's up? Thanks to this downtime I've been able to not play this game for the past 2 or three hours, just like the 70, or so, games I bought during the Steam holiday sale.

So, if you'll excuse me, I have a few hundred games, including Mass Effect 2 and, thanks to this downtime, STO, which I must continue to not play.

I hope in the future, if they continue with all this up time, that they give us an option to restrict our own play time. COME ON CRYPTIC I HAVE TO LIVE MY LIFE IN THE REAL WORLD. I CAN'T DO THIS WITH ALL THE UP TIME!!!
