I see that after reporting this in Beta that it still isnt fixed along with many othe bugs that I reported arn't fixed from beta, that fact of the Bridge Officers on Bridge View are still Federation characters wearing Federation Uniforms and not Klingon characters in Klingon Uniforms, good job guys, I dont remember reading somewhere that Federation slaves were going to be running my ship when my Klingon Bridge Officers were having a nap.

Perhaps you are familiar with the term "prioritization"? Simply put, the development team probably had 20k items to work on. So which one is first? Your bridge officer uniform report?

Development team just called... they said you're #1 on the list. Now hold your breathe till its done!

As a developer myself, he is right. Lets break down the order of things real fast.

Step 1. Like a month or two of Beta where 10s of 1000s of people are reporting bugs and putting them in a huge database. That alone is alot of data to sort over and review for what is useful andnot useful and what is duplicated and what is not.

Just get any useful data from that would take weeks with a handful of people, they likely have a large staff on that.

Step 2. Testing those bug submissions to see if they are actually bugs or just user error.

Again weeks of people seting up the enviorment to test it to see if they are able to reproduce. Granted this bug is easy to reproduce but some are not. Not to mention they will have 1000s of bugs to test along with this one.

If they cant reproduce it they cant fix it. Plan and simple.

Step 3. Fixing the bugs. To do this you have to setup a queue of what is imporant and what is not. That is where the prioritization comes in. If I have the following bugs to fix:

    1. Fed Bridge officers on my klingon bridge stations
    2. Client is crashing when I fire a torpedo
    3. UI has no simple way to leave a fleet
    4. Ships cant turn down
    5. I need more coffee

Seeing that list you know the first thing they are going to get to is number 2! That is the one a player will most run into, followed by number 4. The rest are at best last on the list in whatever order they pick.

Thier list I am sure is much much bigger then that.

This is the gameplay bugs forum. Please don't attack people for reporting bugs in it.
