My client worked great the last day of beta. The more they patched the more it crashed, but at least I was able to log in. I have been trying to log in since 10am head start but I get fetal errors. From the logs, it seems to be problems with the hogg files. Why in the world they opted to use compressed files that required decompression as they are needed I have no clue. There is a chance the files are corrupt but if I delete them, its a 10gb download. Force Verify is worthless. I am at a loss here. I don't know what to do with this mess. I feel fleeced of 250 bucks.
I've got the same problem. I've already turn my PC up side down. I even got my GPU powered buy second PSU. And I still can't play, after few minutes, sometimes even after one I've got that Fatal Error 9001540. I've just bought new parts for my PC two weeks ago. And I'm now dying. I'm thinking about scarifying virgins on altar of fire to gods.....
Hopefully I'm not one :P

Found a workaround on win 7 anyways. Right click on the PIGGS directory and choose Restore previous version. I used the one from open beta . It overwrites the corrupted hogg files. I only had a 150 mb patch to dl and ive had no crashes fer about an hour.
Same, as I enter kinjer , the game crashes fatal error, had this since beta thought i would try the mission now as I hate having incomplete missions in my log, hoping this has been resolved, but to my disappointment it hasn't.Im disappointed to say the least.

First I would like to ask that you not post in 5 month old threads, as this was a similar but completely different issue that was corrected. With that being said can you post a dxdiag and if you get an error code can you post that as well.
To create a DXDiag report, follow these steps:
1. Click "Start" menu, then click "Run"
2. In the "Open" box, type: DXDiag (hit enter)
3. If this is your first time running DXDiag, click "Yes" to launch the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
4. Click "Save All Information" to create a DXDiag report.
5. Choose a name and location for the dump file (recommend desktop) and click "Save".
Zip this file and attach it to a post in this thread.

Hoping for suggestions.

5 different threads linked above (6 including this one). Yes they are different - i know they don't "look"different but they are - trust me!!
Noone has bothered to merge any of them and the "workaround" sometimes works - sometimes not...
Whats REALLY disappointing that a problem that has been occuring since beta hasnt had a decent response yet
Love the game - hate the feedback and transparency on this gamebreaking and persistent issue
Hopefully the poster and others itll affect can find an answer somewhere in all the unmerged threads ive listed?
Hopefully I'm not one :P

btw you can't upload .zips to this forum so here is a .txt
I dont see anything wrong with your DXDIAG, but since you are running windows 7 have you tried to Run as admin?
