Odd Haze

I'm getting an odd Haze of bad shadows, and lighting, and I wasn't sure if this was limited to me or my hardware, which I will list first.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.4GHz
Windows 7 Ultimate X64
8 GB OCZ Black Edition PC3 - 12800
Sapphire Radeon 5870
Asus Crosshair III Formula Motherboard
Various other unrelated hardware.

Its very hard to describe my problem, but I do know its shadow related because I can turn off AO (Ambient Occlusion) turn the Shadow Quality to "Low" (Which seems to remove all shadows) and my problem only remains on my character, rather than the environment. I will try and include an image in this post, and if that doesn't work I will include a link to the image to show what I see.

Thanks in advance for the help!

What catalyst version are you running? It looks similar to an issue I was having with my 5970. Once I updated my catalyst to the 9.12 (I was at 9.8) that went away.

I just installed 10.1 as I'm replying to this post, so maybe that will fix my issue, I will post back if It does...but the servers are down at the moment! :(

unless it was last nights patch that fixed it(logged out before the patch)Cats 10.1 didn't. That's waht I have been using and I get the weird haze.

Will login in about 30min to check.

I have exactly the same problem. As of this morning it was still happening so I don't think the patch fixed it. I will try the driver update this evening.
